Which horrendous results?

There may be certain nutrients that these pseudo vegans may be deficient of.

This can impact your health in many ways, can make you lethargic and weak.

For example if you notice many Gujeratis have black rings around their eyes (look like pandas), this is a sign of certain deficiency that gives them kidney problems. Gujerati are far more strict in their diet and I know of a few that have been advised to start eating eggs because of certain proteins and fats.

If you do decide to follow this vegan  route, make sure that you are receiving the right amount of nutrients.

I think the darkness around eyes is just hyperpigmentation due to genetics and/or ageing

https://www.5xfest.com/5xpress/gymsharks-first-south-asian-fitness-influencer

Over the years, Gymshark has become a worldwide phenomenon when it comes to athletic apparel -- among the likes of big brands like Lululemon, Nike, and Adidas.

Having its own charm, Gymshark has been able to grow with the help of social media fitness influencers to promote their products by creating an aesthetic around fitness apparel.

While this is a smart  move on Gymshark’s end, following closely in the steps of Lululemon’s fitness ambassador program, being a sponsored Gymshark athlete is an exclusive opportunity that very few are able to get.

Beyant Kaur, better known as Kaurstrength on Instagram, recently became  the first South Asian woman to be a sponsored Gymshark athlete, after changing the fitness game for Sikh women when she started her page in early 2013.

Beyant has shared her fitness journey over the years, as she's trained for spartan races, broken norms for women when it comes to strength training, defying all myths of working out while pregnant, rebuilding her body and and strength after giving birth, and setting the bar when it comes to living a clean and holistic lifestyle.

Beyant Kaur is a powerhouse of a woman and has broken down barriers for South Asian women, and inspired them to live their lives being unapologetically themselves and not giving a <banned word filter activated> what others think about them.

By breaking down norms of what women are capable of, and standing up to those that try to bring her down for what she does, Beyant has been resilient, and continues to share her daily workouts with her followers.

She has shown her followers time and time again, that with a little consistency and pushing yourself beyond what you think you are capable of, your body can surprise you.

Her dynamic workout videos, healthy meal tips, and  her passion for living a healthy lifestyle, will definitely get you inspired to hit the gym, and it is even more motivating when it comes from a woman who looks like you do.

South Asian and Sikh representation is scarce when it comes to predominantly white brands and spaces, but seeing a dastaardhari, Sikh woman from Vancouver, being one of the first in the world for Gymshark, is a big win for our community.

With everything going on in the world, it is up to us to show up for our people and support and encourage BIPOC to continue doing what they're doing, especially when they reach big milestones that put the community on the map.

Beyant is just one example of Kaur Strength that exists out there, and her strength, resilience, and perseverance, will likely inspire generations of Kaurs to come.

https://www.desiblitz.com/content/top-british-asian-women-empowering-change

With such an influx of British Asian women within different industries, more catalysts for change are beginning to appear.

Although there is an increasing number of British Asians exploring creative avenues, these specific women want to inspire innovation.

These trailblazers aren’t just promoting forward-thinking, but they’re opening doors in intriguing sectors like sport and beauty.

They believe representation needs to be fair and equal, especially in the avenues where their speciality lies.

For example, weightlifter Karenjeet Kaur Bains is an advocate for strength sports.

With the aid of social media and attention from UK South Asian outlets and The Guardian, these British Asian women are pushing the boundaries.

Here are the top 5 British Asian women, making a difference for future generations.

5 Top British Asian Women Making a Difference

We start with history maker, Karenjeet Kaur Bains, who is the first female Sikh powerlifter to represent Great Britain.

The exciting 24-year-old fell in love with strength sports after seeing her mother, Manjit, dominate sprinting competitions in Warwickshire.

Manjit managed to become a five-time ‘Track & Field Athletics Champion.’  Hence, it is not surprising that Karenjeet has this championship mentality.

Having a heavily exposed upbringing to fitness, Karenjeet wants more British Asian women to have the guidance that she did:

“There is a lack of representation and I’m hoping that I can be an example to young girls out there.”

This is quite poignant as British Asian female athletes are still struggling to receive the same recognition as male competitors.

However, the reason why Karenjeet’s story stands out is because of her relatability.

The skilled athlete works as a chartered accountant during the week, a career that many British Asians also have.

Therefore, the powerlifter is an example that you can be successful in both education and sport. An ideology shunned by some Desi traditionalists.

In August 2021, Karenjeet accomplished a hattrick of senior titles. She became the ‘All England Bench Press Champion’, ‘British Bench Press Champion’ and the ‘All England Champion’.

An impressive feat for such a fresh challenger who dons her full name in competitions, declaring:

“I insist on having my full name – Karenjeet Kaur Bains – because the middle name is quite distinctive of a Sikh person.”

This shows how the starlet wants to expand the inclusivity of strength sports. She also wants more British Asian women to represent their Desi culture with pride.

In an interview with ITV, Karenjeet stated:

“I want this to be the floodgates for many more girls in all levels of sport from all arenas to get involved in strength sports. Because, why can’t girls be strong?”

With such an active and empowering role, K

Being over weight,  age also plays a part, a lot of these pics are of gentlemen over the age of 45

If someone eats too much and doesn't do enough physical activity, they will generally be overweight, regardless of genetics, especially over time/increased age. The ones not overweight in that scenario are the exceptions. I would not use 'genetics' as an 'excuse' - if someone wants to change their body, then they should put the time and effort into it.
