I give money to Sikligars through the British Sikh council... are they any good or are they just like Khalsa Aid? 

My sister brought home leaflets from the gurdwara a few months back, one was Khalsa Aid and the other British Sikh council. I remember flicking through the Khalsa Aid and thinking that these Muslims are getting help from Muslims all around the globe so why are Sikhs getting so huffed and puffed and flying over to syria etc. I even know some pakis who live down my road and they flew to Palestine to help them.   British Sikh council on the other hand focused more on Sikligars and helping poor sikhs and giving their kids education teaching poor Sikhs girls sewing so they can work in factories  etc

When Guru Sahib gives one of his Sikhs vital seva for the betterment and benefit of fellow Sikhs and the panth in general, the vessel through which that seva is delivered would do well to retain a sense of nimartaa and perspective by bearing in mind that He who giveth can just as easily taketh away. Operating under a rationale that purposefully stretches the definition of Sikh principles to the point that the primary principles being adhered to are ironically are at the expense of Sikhs, well it's just a question of when (and not if) those grace and blessings are withdrawn. The virtue signalling on virtual platforms cannot and will not last forever. Eventually, the self-aggrandizing does come to an end.

Not a very pleasant situation. 

Many Sikhs did this during partition. 

When it comes to your survival then it may be necessary to be zero'd out and start from scratch.

I don't think punjabi Sikhs on the whole got the message yet ....how serious of an attack this is. An entire afghan Sikh leadership has been wiped out.

It is the 9/11 for afghan Sikhs it is the 1984 for them they feel abandoned, hopeless and no future in their homeland of Afghanistan. That sense of pain I don't think is being felt by most punjabi Sikhs otherwise there would be riots right now in punjab and india urging the religious leaders and politicians to take action.

And eventually pakistani Sikh leaders (they are already being killed) will be next and then kashmiri Sikh leaders and only when punjabi Sikh leaders face similar attacks will they wake up but by then it maybe too late to do anything about their situation.

British Sikh Council are miles apart from the wasters of Khalsa Aid. BSC has been working with poor Sikligar Sikhs for over a decade by building Gurdwaras and helping them economically/ Longer term they want to relocate some of the Sikligars to Punjab.

British Sikh Council will get a donation, Khalsa Aid needs to disappear obscurity.

I am surprised that you guys don't also see that these bullies in far flung places whether in pak, HInd or Afghanistan  are getting their way by bullying and stealing our hard earned arable lands/properties and valuable real estate(shillong) from out under us leaving us as permanent nomads without a place . This is not what is needed , it's all very well saying come to punjab , doesn't that make it easier to kettle us in and kill us off as they tried in 1980s??? what about nanded and other dharmic asthaans as in patna ?

I can understand that it is their land for centuries, however the wisest thing to do is move  on from there. Life is far more important than land.

We should instead be focused on bringing our people to safety. If the Western governments are so willing to accept Syrian refugees, we should definitely be asking our respective governments (UK, USA, Canada) to bring these remaining Sikhs over. They're lives are at serious risk.
