however if Chandi di vaar is started in daytime one can stop at one or however many times one likes .

No such rule exist for Chandi di Vaar. All made up rules by over zealous baba trying to oppress Sikhs.

this was vidhi told to Baba Harnam Singh ji  Rampur Kedewale  by Shaheed Singhs who got him by the throat for breaking akhand jaap vidhi when he tried to do Chandi paat after sundown. It is written up in Se kinehiya , if you doubt mahapurakh's bachan then you try and see what happens. He also had darshan of Guru Pita ji but Guru ji refused to speak to  him the reason being his Nitnem was adoora because he would not do his Jaap Sahib as it was difficult to get kant . Shaheed SInghs again told the reason and then Baba ji corrected his dhil . If Gurujan tell us something for our good why be stubborn, avoid the mistake and get the full phal.

This is how the fear mongering starts. Tell a made up story to scare Sikhs.  Nihangs have made up their reason for why Chandi di Vaar MUST not be done before sunset, if done before sunset then the paath must be read till sunrise.  All lies spread to control Sikhs.  I have read Chandi di Vaar many times after sunset and nothing happens.  In fact only blessings are recieved from Guru Sahib.  Yes I am the most stubborn person to read my Guru's Bani after sunset.  What will the Guru do to such a soul who reads Chandi di Vaar after sunset. My Guru, Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji tells me to sing his praises 24/7 and no stipulation on time for and praise of his.  If your Guru ( a fairytale story), surely not Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji, tells you not too. That is your path and not of a Sikh.

According to Giani Sher Singh, the first savaiya doesnt exist in Puratan Birhs.

I don't know how that is grounds for removal, how do we know these birhs that don't have it are accurate? What time period are they from? If it didn't exist, then where did the first savaiya (ਜਾਗਤ ਜੋਤਿ ਜਪੈ ਨਿਸ ਬਾਸੁਰ) come from?

It came after 1699 and it turned into 33 swayie. Then when guru sahib reached hazur sahib guru sahib wrote another swayie and it became 34 swayie

if that is true the Dasam Granth that was complete in 1698 has or does not have 33 swaiyae ?

This is an interesting question. Present day sikhs believe that khalsa was created on vaisakhi 1699 but this does not seem to be right.

According to this guru ji was then born in 1661 instead of 1666
