Guru Ji was born on January 1st, 1667 (Poh Sudi 7, 1723 BK) (23 Poh, 1723 BK)

The people, books, websites, etc. who still use December 22nd, 1666 as the birth date are stupid and need to realize that this date is in the Julian calendar, which hasn't been in use for 2-3 centuries now.

As said in the title, Hazur Sahib Senchi is missing the first Savaiya from 33 Savaiye? Why? This is big beadbi.

obviously they must have quality assurance as it is Gurbani and the manglacharan page is starting with the second swaiyae so yes it is a deliberate choice by the print setter. Time to get everyone to

  Thanks for this. It combines the four approved sources (Guru Granth Sahib ji, Dasam Granth Sahib, Bhai Gurdas ji (both Vaar and Kabitt), and Bhai Nand Lal ji in one place. The English translation is the Sant Singh Khalsa and the Punjabi is the Principal Sahib Singh. These aren't that great, but at least they are better than some even worse ones floating around these days.
