EDL supporting Sikhs

The number of Sikhs who openly support EDL is miniscule.

The number of Sikhs who openly are against EDL is also miniscule.

The vast majority of Sikhs in the UK I think covertly sympathize with the EDL and intuitively know why they were set up in the first place though we don't like to admit it.

We cannot however openly support them because of we perceive to what it might lead to.

That is it in a nutshell.

Sikhs don't need to ally themselves with the EDL to stand against the Islamic threat. It's bad P.R. for us, plus I don't really trust the various white nationalist movements. One can only imagine what they truly consider us to be away from the patronising encouragement to "fight back." Anyway, the battle is all but lost on a street level. When you've got a Muslim Mayor of London, a Muslim Home Secretary, and burgeoning Muslim involvement in the highest echelons of the British political establishment, we've kind of missed our chance around 12-15 years ago. Street-level skirmishes are useless aside from the massage of individual egos.

Big-picture: it's done. The battle is over before most of us even knew it had started. If you were expecting an announcement via the wireless by the reigning monarch declaring an outbreak of war, then you'll continue to be disappointed. Think Huxley not Orwell; the peaceful stupor of contentment, not the physical jackboot of oppression. You get me?

I bet the so called charges against the EDL are all trumped up by the powers that be. Only a fool or dishonest individual like Jigsaw would believe it.

Give it up Jigsaw. Your stupid, ignorant and dishonest posts is not convincing anybody except yourself.

Well said.

Eventually Sikhs have to take a side. You cannot be a fence sitter on this. One way or another Sikhs will be affected.

Anyone with any sympathy for Stephen Yaxley lennon aka Tommy Robinson or the EDL needs their heads checked

Yeah I saw the interview Fox News did with him a few days ago. The American facists are painting him as a hero and both he and they were going on about how hard it must have been for him to endure the last few months in prison. He said it was really difficult. Fox News didn't ask him if it was as difficult as the 9 months he spent in prison for a huge mortgage fraud. Or the time he spent in jail for beating up his wife. Or the time he spent in jail for brutally assaulting a policeman. Or the time he spent in a jail cell for illegally entering America with a false passport. Or the time.........

That is such as defeatist attitude to have. Sadic was only elected due to the muslim vote from east london otherwise he would never have been elected. all 2 million muslims voted for him. No white wants him as mayor. As for the others. No need to be jealous of people getting good jobs in politics.  Maybe you wish uppall was primeinster?

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
