Not sure. What harm can it do. People take pictures of themselves by the Gurdwara. They will have a moment for life and cherish it.

fair enough but where do you draw the line? what about these romantic pics below? They too are moments which these couples will cherish but where do you draw the line? would sant ji have allowed this behavior back in the 80?   or is it acceptable now?

i have seen couples holding hands or arm in arm and having a casual walk around the parikarma as if its a evening walking in the park

It is one thing about being open and inviting but there is an etiquette and decorum that should be followed.

It is simply good manners to do so.

These people would not dare to do this in front of the Vatican, The wall in Jerusalem, or any Mosque.

Well of course they wouldn't be allowed to do that in front of those places because those places are holy sites, there is a certain manner your supposed to behave in and dress code too

Would a kiss be acceptable? If not then why is a one knee marriage proposal acceptable but not a kiss ? Or is a little peck on the lips ok at harmandir sahib    where do you draw this invisible line?  What's the criteria of what's acceptable and what's not ?

We itch our heads in confusion and wonder why sikhi and practise is changing but at the same time people allow people to behave however they like

They wouldnt even allow this at hazur sahib   that man proposing would probably end up with a teer up his bottom if he  tried  that at nanded. Its a gurdwara not taj mahal
