It is one thing about being open and inviting but there is an etiquette and decorum that should be followed.

It is simply good manners to do so.

These people would not dare to do this in front of the Vatican, The wall in Jerusalem, or any Mosque.

Wonder whether these Sikhs who do nothing to intervene don't want to be seen as extremist/compared to muslims or perhaps  liberal/uneducated/weak in knowledge themselves about the sanctity and meaning to Sikhs.

There could easily be signs up to educate these westerners/liberals of how to behave - these people would take notice then....maybe have some elders with long sticks ready for some seva....

Another great video of foreign visitors to Darbar Sahib.

I know that some visitors sometimes have issues with not following the correct protocol as they have limited knowledge on the faith. But most are more then respectable and adhere to the basics. Obviously if people go over the line and be disrespectful then this needs to addressed.

The great thing is like many other religions all are welcome. People who are making these videos are actually doing great Parchaar for the faith. Think of the thousands who will watch this videos and then have a great impression of Sikhs and be educated who sikhs are. This will make them more likely to look into the faith. These videos are gold dust and should be appreciated for their value.

Can admin delete the trump video - Not sure how that got there and I cant seem to delete it when i edit the thread.

But that's the thing     these photos don't mean that we should start allowing all the rubbish. Its actually the photo of the man going down on one knee for a Woman   of all things    in the presence of harmandir sahib he decides to go down on one knee for a woman. He ain't a man he's a Salwar.  People go to harmandir sahib to go onto there're knees before guru ji   while this man turned up at harmandir sahib to go down on his knees for a pathetic janani.

Would sant ji bhindranwale have allowed that pathetic man to do that? Certainly not

Point taken.

But they are on the outskirts of the religious complex.

It is clear also that we have higher standards.

That's just a quick search. The one girl is sitting on the wailing wall itself.

It's not that I agree with their decorum, or that the Sangat should find it appropriate, it's that people will do just about anything anywhere.
