Weird that how a Pakistani model and blogger thinks that she is the spokeswoman for basic Sikh right advocacy toward Sikh homeland where majority won’t even approve of what she mentioned above. 

Respected pannun was novoice during 80’s/90’s and everybody knows that thus saying that he ended armed struggle is laughable. 

Read a book or two to learn the history first before attempting to be the rep mresentative of any Sikh organization my sister.

Well you say that. But you have to give her and the Pakistani's credit.

She's earned say $10,000 from fronting a few videos for an opinion poll.

Instead of $10,000 going towards educating poor Sikh children at least that $10,000 of Sikhs hard money can be put to good use so that a Pakistani Muslim model can buy make up and beauty products.

But the 2019 referendum launch in Pakistan is even more shameless. So that instead of wealthy Diaspora Sikhs spending money to uplift poor Sikhs in Punjab - being targeted by Christian missionaries because they can't afford cancer treatment - millions of dollars of the Sikh Diaspora's money can go direct into enriching Pakistani Punjabi hotel owners bank accounts and boosting Pakistani Government revenue streams (to enable more drugs to be sent to Indian Punjab). 

The Pakistani Genocide of Sikhs which was 50 times worse than the Congress (Indira) Genocide of Sikhs was totally forgotten about 30 years after 1947. Now it seems high likely that Hindutva masterminds will spot that if after a few decades Sikhs can totally forget the Pakistani Genocide of Sikhs then it should be a piece of cake to make Sikhs think that even the Congress Party is their friend.

Wait! I forgot that Congress won 77% of the seats in Punjab only last year ...

2.5% Amritdhari (like Badal and KPS Gill)

2.5% Kesdhari (like Amrinder and Sukhbir)

50% moneh (like Brar and Dera pujari's)

45% Non-Sikh (that speak Hindi and Urdu)

To magically expect more than 90% of all "Sikhs" to vote for the proposition when they voted Congress last year is a joke

Anybody with a brain cell can see that this non-binding opinion poll would not get majority support if offered to all

These same people probably imagine the British Empire offered Sikhs (as a 14% minority) rule over 86% non-Sikhs in 1947 lol

That is not the question at hand in 2018^

One side (Delhi) was responsible for the Congress (Indira) Genocide of Sikhs

The other side (as Sikhs) would surely do a better job upholding human rights!

The real issue is does this opinion poll in 2020 openly bankrolled by Pakistan - which cannot command majority support in Indian Punjab for patently obvious demographic reasons - help Sikhs in the next 2 years? Or does it dangerously take our eyes off the ball of bigger more pressing issues in the short term such as:

*Sikhs heading towards becoming a minority in east Punjab (as in Doaba)

*Sikhs needing to unite each pind and town under a single united Gurdwara only

*Sikhs needing to stop copying Hindu+Muslim matrimonial apartheid patterns

*Sikh child literacy levels needing to be urgently increased via Diaspora funding

*Overseas Sikhs investing in Punjab to help create employment opportunities

*Channelling all monies wasted on pilgramages and visits to Pakistan towards cancer treatment, drugs rehabiliation, children's education and poverty alleviation

*Sikhs putting an end to female infanticide before doing this useless opinion poll

*Sikhs building support from allies in other states towards an interim India based on American federal principles (a revised Anandpur Sahib resolution) whereby a united currency and united defence from Pakistani drugs or terrorist attacks are retained but individual states such as Punjab, Gujarat, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu have the ability to tailor policies to local conditions as they do in America or the European Union

No all Amritdharis are like Badal and KPS Gill was not an Amritdhari. Neither are all Keshdharis like Amrinder. So your BS doesn't make any sense.

The referendum is based around the concept that Punjab today is a colony which the Indians are looting of its resources and its indigenous peoples (Punjabi Sikhs and Hindus, Muslims and Christians) are being oppressed by the Indian govt. Punjab is no different to areas like East Timor where the Indonesians sought to settle Javanese people to make the East Timorese into a minority.  East Timor managed to get a referendum  and voted for independence. The India govt is doing the same by settling millions of bhaiyas in Punjab. Most industries in the cities have non-Punjabi majority workforces. In fact just a few months both the independence vote, the two major Indonesian parties won 76% of the vote in East Timor and this was then expected to lead to a rejection of independence  in the referendum. About 80% of the East Timorese electorate voted in the national elections just as anti-2020 people say that Punjabis already vote in Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections.

The referendum is presented as the of the right of the Punjabi people to determine their own national future. So all these Hindi and Urdu speakers who nowadays are bhaiyas will not have the vote. If you count only the Punjabis in Punjab then the population ratio is probably  65:33:1;1 of Sikhs, Hindus, Muslims and Christians. The bhaiyas who are Hindus and Muslims will not have the vote. 

This is the theory at least. What referendum 2020 has done is to give nightmares to the Indian establishment because they can deal with militant activities but a non-violent struggle for independence would be hard for it handle.

Pannu is a complete fraud who is just trying to raise his profile for the benefit of his business interests.

I feel bad that some well meaning Sikhs are gullible enough to be fooled by a two-bit con artist like Pannu.  He is pathetic.
