Panth Ratan Sach Khand Vasi Jathedar Baba Santa Singh Ji Akali 96 Crori Mukhi Budha Dal Panjva Takth took a more wise approach (like always) that's why Indira kept in contact with them.

I'm not sure about that. She approached other Sikh leaders before Buta Singh went to see Baba Santa Singh.

All of them didn't want to rebuild Sri Akal Takht Sahib, someone had to take the initiative.

Guest What a Joke

Since he said himself that he is not a Sant then why do people insist on calling him a Sant?

Imagine if a Hindu Sadhu or a Christian Priest threatened to kill 5,000 people and the people wore t-shirts!?

If he was the PA of Baba Thakur Singh then how comes his father worked for Punjab Police between 1984-1997?

There are no real Nihangs within Damdami Taksal. That's like saying there are AKJ within Damdami Taksal.

What are u on about? Akali Phula Singh Ji was around 200 years before Dhadrianwala!

When Bhindrawala themselves said they are not a Sant in the video above why do u insist on calling them Sant?

If a Catholic priest or Muslim Qazi threatened to kill 5,000 Sikhs in California over a vehicle will you also support that?

Like Jakare said Panth Rattan Sachkhand Vasi 96 Crori Mahapurakh Jathedar Baba Santa Singh Ji never said these things!

just because the father did work someplace what has that got to do with him?

Nihang is Khalsa , Damdami is Khalsa , AKJ is khalsa - all brothers and sisters together  , what is Guru ji definition of nihang just the bana ? I don't think so , All three have given sacrifices for their kaum and Guru ji and that makes them worthy of that title.

No. At the time, the Akali Dal/Sikh leadership were of the view that Sri Akal Takht Sahib should not be repaired so the sangat could see what the government had done. This scared indira and she needed someone to repair the shrine before relinquishing control.

There are literally pictures taken for this purpose.

Budha Dal has always been in control of Sri Akal Takht Sahib (until 1920 when control was taken by SGPC).

Flipping hell dude, Sri Akal Takht Sahib is the supreme court and Guru Ji's hukam, of course, we needed it fixed quickly at the time.

    • Technically Bang is neither a poison, toxin, or addictive. There is a reason its called Sukh and has a place within history of Sikhia.  The Guru Granth Sahib Ji says to avoid toxins, technically tea contains various poisons, if you drank enough it could kill you and its addictive. You'd have to drink a retarded amount to die, but just sayin nobody seems this triggered over cha.  I'd be asking myself where this hate of bang comes from?  When it was planted? Obviously wasn't there initially.
    • Remember also  everyone is the soul bride of Waheguru Ji
    • We are equal in the eyes of God because we are beneath him. It is looking at ants from our eyes. The problem with people is that they think that leadership is a privilege. It is not, it is a responsibility.  As the head of the family you may have the authority but that always comes with accountability. They go hand in hand. In families there is a pecking order, the children first, the women next and then the men. Men are the sacrificial gender, why in cases of emergency do they say "women and children first". A woman will sacrifice her life for her children but never for her husband. A man will sacrifice for both. Women who take leadership from her husband do it because they are forced into it or because the man is not up to it and the woman becomes resentful of her husband.
    • I don’t see how you see this practice as a part of our ancestral history.  What I chose to do independently outside of Sikhi cannot be associated with Sikhi practices. Similar as to how dietary influence is largely down to the landscape and culture of the region you belong to.  The same is for narcotics which are largely taken due to cultural influence and availability to the region.  Just because I eat potato chips in England this does not mean my future generations should adopt this, and somehow associate this with my religious identity.  Your cultural practices can be altered, discarded and chosen but your religious practices can never change,  whether that be in the 18th Century or the 21st.   If you reword this with ‘medicinal, recreational drug use in the region of Punjab in the 17th-18th Century’, I would have no problem with this observation.  But as soon as someone quotes ‘Puratan Sikhs and use of Marijuana’, I am not comfortable with this!
