Panth Ratan Sach Khand Vasi Jathedar Baba Santa Singh Ji Akali 96 Crori Mukhi Budha Dal Panjva Takth took a more wise approach (like always) that's why Indira kept in contact with them.

I'm not sure about that. She approached other Sikh leaders before Buta Singh went to see Baba Santa Singh.

All of them didn't want to rebuild Sri Akal Takht Sahib, someone had to take the initiative.

Guest What a Joke

Since he said himself that he is not a Sant then why do people insist on calling him a Sant?

Imagine if a Hindu Sadhu or a Christian Priest threatened to kill 5,000 people and the people wore t-shirts!?

If he was the PA of Baba Thakur Singh then how comes his father worked for Punjab Police between 1984-1997?

There are no real Nihangs within Damdami Taksal. That's like saying there are AKJ within Damdami Taksal.

What are u on about? Akali Phula Singh Ji was around 200 years before Dhadrianwala!

When Bhindrawala themselves said they are not a Sant in the video above why do u insist on calling them Sant?

If a Catholic priest or Muslim Qazi threatened to kill 5,000 Sikhs in California over a vehicle will you also support that?

Like Jakare said Panth Rattan Sachkhand Vasi 96 Crori Mahapurakh Jathedar Baba Santa Singh Ji never said these things!

just because the father did work someplace what has that got to do with him?

Nihang is Khalsa , Damdami is Khalsa , AKJ is khalsa - all brothers and sisters together  , what is Guru ji definition of nihang just the bana ? I don't think so , All three have given sacrifices for their kaum and Guru ji and that makes them worthy of that title.

No. At the time, the Akali Dal/Sikh leadership were of the view that Sri Akal Takht Sahib should not be repaired so the sangat could see what the government had done. This scared indira and she needed someone to repair the shrine before relinquishing control.

There are literally pictures taken for this purpose.

Budha Dal has always been in control of Sri Akal Takht Sahib (until 1920 when control was taken by SGPC).

Flipping hell dude, Sri Akal Takht Sahib is the supreme court and Guru Ji's hukam, of course, we needed it fixed quickly at the time.

    • One person can not follow two or more religions at the same time. By following religion I mean that you do your nitnem everyday. and try to follow the panthic rehat maryada. If you really know all these religions than you know for a fact that you can't follow all of them at the same time. You can't have one foot in one boat and other foot in another boat. An amritdhari cant be worshiping idol like in Hinduism and Christianity. That is what he meant by hodge podge. the kids are usually confused and can't really commit to one religion. it does happen but its every rare when both parents accept one religion. I have seen it happen but rare.
    • You can wear the necklace that has a kirpan and kanga. For the kacherra you can try to make a small one that clings to your body more. If not just do a rdas before and after riding your bike that youre taking off your kakar and please forgive me
    • @Premi5 Your idea of Kalyug is rather tame and run of the mill. I don't think you quite get the gist of what's going on! 😅
    • I'm glad there's a couple of guys here on my wavelength. 👍 It's not being negative or pessimistic to acknowledge these issues, but it becomes quite demoralising when there doesn't seem to be any way out of it apart from total destruction of the whole darn thing. Why? Because there are some deeply damaging things that, once unleashed out onto the mass consciousness, cannot be reeled back in. I think it's when that point is reached that the climactic cycle of destruction begins in preparation for something fresh, untainted, and new.  Unfortunately, there is no rehabilitation of certain evils and their representatives. To not banish them permanently is perpetuating that evil even further. But, as you said, we are trapped by committments and ties and all sorts of minor yet inescapable day-to-day things that keep people from focusing on what's important. I think "they" do this to befuddle those people who would otherwise provide a solution to these and other problems that plague the human race.
    • I agree Veer Ji. When you look around the world there really isn't any great nation or faction to support. Just a battle of evils amongst themselves.  Outside of select military service to keep up to date, I really think it speaks to Sikhs need to train and fight for Dharam Yudh only. Only a very few should enlist in the militaries of today and they should disseminate that training within the rest of the Sangat when they are done.   Where is there even to go? The so called republic of macedonia? Some south American land bordering indigenous yet unconquered tribes? Everywhere you walk is Imperialized somehow.  Japan would be a good fit culturally, and has a declining population, but is thoroughly occupied by the united states and a forward operating base for war in Asia.  Really were all stuck covered in filth all over the globe, and whatever privilege we enjoy is usually because the country we live in is exploiting others.  Only thing one can do is be self sustaining in food, water, and self defense with whatever Sangat that surrounds them.  Most of us are too trapped by economy to do anything other than work, watch and have an opinion. At least if we Jaap Naam and read Gurbani we are doing good for ourselves while the <banned word filter activated> show unveils itself.
