Why don't Sikh brides cover their heads?

We have my massis wedding photo album at home. It's black and white and the wedding was in the early 70s in punjab. I know it was a long time ago and the culture was different back then but it's completely different to the weddings of today.  Everything is so simple and minimal

On which Ang of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji does it say Sri Guru Nanak dev ji asked a woman when to cover her head and how much?

Bro don't get me started.  There's a lot not in the Ari Granth part of the Guru that we do and don't do today.   I'm talking about how there is virtually NO female participation in discussion online or off, and we know how it is important to converse about various subjects in Sihki.   The panth are the eternal students of the eternal light and darkness.

I wouldn't get too hung up on the chunni:head ratio.

This will be a regular occurance in gurudwaras in the not so distant future.

Heads are covered but is that enough?

A crime is not being committed here, I'm sure there is plenty more to question about one's actions in life.

heres a quick google search., Why were none of these women dragged out or told to cover their heads before guru granth sahib ji ?     you can hardly call any of the below a head covering.   

The double standards are really starting to annoy me 

Do them brides become more "SIKH" after covering their heads ?

It's all about what's in fashion for most people, some Sikh brides follow Bollywood trends by wearing a Lehenga-Choli outfit. The Choli blouse shows the stomach and sometimes has a deep neck. Just a few decades back, brides covered their head properly.
