Are we the best religion?

if Muslims should be good Muslims, and Hindus be good Hindus, then why do we say our religion is the best?

We cannot force others to believe in what we believe in otherwise there is no difference between us and the mughals. At the end of the day, all religions lead us to God and teach us to be good people. Sikhi is just a faster and purer way that cuts out all pakhand and is a straight path but our personal journey into Sikhi has obstacles this may be to test our faith for example. We have been blessed with a beautiful path, the path of Sikhi. If a muslim is a good muslim and prays 5 times a day then he/she is doing the right thing and worshipping God. Same with a hindu. So, answering your question, we have indeed been blessed but so have others to find peace and God in their religion so we should encourage them to pray more and focus etc. This is what Guru Ji teaches us, to be good people and likewise, we should be good Sikhs.

Im pretty sure Guru Nanak Dev Ji and all the Gurus thought Sikhi is the best. But they were also humble and not boastful. What is meant by that statement is be a good muslim. ie follow the faith you choose to be in. It does not mean all religions are equally good. Alot of people interpret that statement wrongly. 

Its more about not forcing beliefs down peoples throats.

Now Sikhism is the only real true religion. As only a true religion does not look down on non believers or think they are going to hell.

I refuse to ever  put Sikhi on top of any other faith!  We don't have the right to use such gaul despite out greatness.  Yes the muslim has one eye and the hindi is blind making our 3rd path supreme, but Waheguru has other names such as Elohim, Allah, Ram, etc and as long as they worship The True Guru we can't place them below us.

regardless of what gurbani says on this subject and I know it does , still such general statements in open can cause more harm than good. 

Imagine a hindu friend reading this. What will they think of sikhs ? not very pleasant

Judasism also does not believe in conversion. Judasim is better then Christianity in that regard.

that last point is just because it is the youngest.
