your missing the whole point of anand karaj, anand karaj is commitment to sikhi. like i said, its like a non sikh taking amrit which is also a commitment but then going church, mandir or mosque the next day.

In puratan times a Sikh was somebody who did Matha Tek to Maharaj (Shabad Guru). So since Mata Sulakhani Ji was a non-Sikh do you consider her Anand Karaj invalid? Isn't Akaal Purakh the only one qualified to assess commitment in a person's heart?

you guys are seriously making a debate out of no debate. anand karaj is commitment to sikhi, its not a wedding in the western sense, its a life long commitment to sikhi. no place for non sikhs here

Precisely. If crooked people who don't care about Sikhi can take Amrit and have Anand Karaj then who are we to act as the thought police for other Anand Karaj's?

You didn't answer the point about demographics when people marrying out forces other Sikhs (who ideally would like Punjabi Sikh partners) but cannot due to demographics. Should Singhs just sit around unmarried because some Punjabi girls want clean shaven guys or should Singhs get with all the open-minded non-Punjabi women who are cool with Sikh guys?

mata sulakhni ji was a sikh but in those days they had charan pahul, guru gobing singh ji then started khande di pahul.

theres plenty of punjabi woman around, your making it sound as if there is a crisis and all punjabi women have died and been wiped out by a plague

So you are saying that Mata Sulakhani Ji had drunk water which had been washed over Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj's feet prior to marriage!? Show proof of any Punjabi parents who would accept their daughter doing that in puratan times!

Sorry bro you are putting words into my mouth which I haven't said.

Most Punjabi Sikhs will be able to find other Punjabi Sikhs as despite the significant number marrying out they are still a minority at the moment. Let's say 25%.

But if one in four women marry out because they prefer clean shaven guys, should the one in four Singhs for who there isn't a matching Punjaban sit around unmarried because thought police in 2018 say they cannot marry non-Sikhs like Mata Sulakhani Ji all those years ago in the first Anand Karaj?

Or should Singhs get with all the open-minded non-Punjabi women who are cool with Sikh guys?
