Can you be a Chardikala, nitnemi Gursikh without going gurdwara?

Fed up of Gurdwara politics, how the older generation treat youth and tension in general. Want to take a small break from gurdwara.

 

Ps not just a problem at one particular gurdwara but is happening everywhere

Yes, you can but you also need a sangat. The concept of Sangat is very important in our dharam. I stopped going to gurdwara due to the same reason you posted but a person starts losing interest.

It is possible to go to the gurdwara and not get involved with the politics.  Early morning is a great time to go and do your thing and leave.  Also stay away from the Sunday crowd.

The moment you open your Gutka Sahib and the moment you start understanding the bani... you already entered the Guru's Door then....

and yeh Good Sangat is important too.

Just go in the morning (before sunrise). 

Nobody is in the Gurdwara at that time, and there are no politics.

Yes, you are supposed to go to the Gurdwara:

You can have sangat with gursikhs in the homes as well , when we were kids we used to naam abiyaas programs at each other's family homes on top of regular gurdwara visits . Miss those days .

but now we can get a glimpse of our guru even from pdfs ( SGGS pdfs ) right  ?

on screen is not the same as being in the presence of Complete Guru ji , stop being lazy about it and get full blessings of doing matha tek to your Guru ji , let Guru ji speak to and counsel you

you have your keshi bath, go and meet your only parent in this world , no one can stop you from taking Guruwak (unless there is an active paat going on ) . Do you know gurmukhi ? if not ask them to take vak for you and to explain it . After all , that is the sewa they are supposed to be helping with, joining the people with the Gurbani.
