While it is true massive volcanic activity, and meteor strikes cause more global warming than people, the effect of 8 billion cars, furnaces, ac units, and the production of goods for said people can't have 0 impact like some like to say.

Volcanic activity or a meteor strike could end life as we know it on this planet. So could the effect of we humans. If we choose this road we will solve the problem we present the planet surely.

Earth will be fine. We are optional.

I do not believe global warming is happening at all! From where I live it is more or less climate change.  The variability and variance in weather is definitely increasing.   The thing is that the planet has changed temperature tons of times even without humanity pumping chemicals other than coal soot in to the air for greedy Americans' plastic consumables.

There has been a massive increase in temperature.. We can tell and we know humans are responsible..

there is so significant evidence mate, there is none.

there is no causal relationship.

how do we know the increase in temperature, isn't because of some gas leak by tectonic plates, or the moon moved close to the earth? or some other stuff?

internationally metoerologists record accurately and in a detailed way weather on a daily basis in multiple locations of each country , that information has been pooled and analysed alongside seimic activity and solar activity logs for decades and in the case of weather centuries . Tectonic plates only release gases if a volcano occurs and that also is measured locally and globally . Ice cores are taken from the poles and analysed for weather trends , material such as volcanic dust etc and cross checked .

Where killing wildlife because of this. The ice caps are melting and the polar bears are dying.  Look at the state of the ocean. Dead Whales are washing up on shores with their bellies full of plastic. Sea birds are getting strangled because they are eating bits of plastic from the ocean.  Where destroying everything.

Enviromental changes are affecting the coral reefs and a large percentage of coral reefs have now lost their colour and are plain grey. I think around 70% of coral reefs are now dead.

Animal behaviour has changed, because of climate change birds are now forced to migrate much earlier. This means missing out on food, chicks being born at a different time which means many will not survive.

The echo system is getting affected

We know because rational science tells us to accept what we can observe and measure. The evidence is overwhelming. and yes of course we can say what about this or that but until we can find evidence to support a counter narrative we have to accept the facts as they are..

However science is based around the idea that we have to try and disprove a proposition.. So climate change like all science is based on eliminating all the possible other propositions and climate change and increase in temperature is unquestionably linked to human behaviour and the release of carbon into the atmosphere

the relationships between air masses combined with all those things, are hard to predict

they cant predict the weather yet, so I would leave this

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
