Lol yes that is how most young jatt pendus dress. Tight skinny jeans, tight bright coloured tops and hair is even more stupid, many still dye it gold and stick them up like a garden hedge. Very wacky looking hair. It's sad but many could pass for a gay in the UK.

When i went earlier this year my cousin sister and her mum were saying to me that all my clothes are black or dark blue, its because all the guys wear very bright alarming colours there.

The beards are getting crazy too.

Some of them hang their sun glasses out of their t shirt

A new trend that is emerging is they get like 2 or 3 piercings on each ear.

No wonder they really stand out when they move to western countries.

What they try to create is what they think is a "western" look

This song sums up everything

its just another disease thatll die a slow death because something worse will come along to replace it - this is kaljug remember...

the truth is every single one of these people all lack the ability to think for themselves and lack the courage to be different from everyone else..easier for them to just sleepwalk through life on autopilot, follow the crowd to fit in and not be looked down on or laughed at, say what everyone else says for them..just because it's 'cool' and 'modern'..

and heres something else that might also upset some people..if they really cared about their panjabi identity and culture, theyd research old music i.e. folk, films, communicate with elders etc or better yet, sikhi i.e. dhadi raag, raag kirtan..but they wont do it because they find it 'boring' and ultimately they cant 'connect' with it in the same way as rap which is crap because theyve been brainwashed too much by cheap, sleazy and corrupt white and black culture..yh, thats right, both white and black culture are as bad as each other - both promote sex, alcohol, drugs, money, violence, greed and so on..so whats the difference? how can anyone here say black culture is 'true', 'honest' and 'real'? is there something wrong with you?

question is how long will this fad last until they get bored or decide to wake up for themselves?

Lilly Singh has said in previous videos that she does not follow any religion, so it harsh to criticise her for not being culturally Sikh etc but she is annoying and way over the top. Jus region is just as bad

Yeah I don't think I have ever seen her associate herself with any religion. A lot of punjabis don't associate themselves with religion but still get dragged into these discussions. But because someone is of a sikhi background doesn't mean they are sikh.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
