I keep on dreaming about a snake, and I see it in bhagti, what does this mean?

This happened to me a long time before but just last night again, i was dreaming about a snake who I had to keep my eye on however when I would look away it would go off. Then I came near to it and it stood up and I felt threatened.

i suddenly woke up and it was amritvela, thanking guru I went to have a ishnan and came back to my room. But when I started doing my medidation my dhiyaan was going to a snake. When I focused all I could see was that snake standing up. Is this just me being superstitious as I think it may just be because of the dream it was in my head and then when I did dhiyaan it came up or does it mean something else? 

Please put my mind to rest!!

it was just a dream fella.

You're thinking about it alot, that is why it is scaring you. GET BUSY.

Sometimes things that we think about or things that we are attached to appear in our dreams. As its still in our sub-conscious mind. At least dreams about snakes are not that bad lol I still get worse dreams - nightmares in fact

Satgur ji is more powerful than a snake. Every confusing step is made easier with ardaas. Pray for  power for your mind to overcome this hurdle. Maya will try anything to confuse you up.

Brother,

dreams are dreams, good or bad, but after all dreams no more. Just try to forget them, by not paying much attention to them.

They are not in our hands, but we can say they are projections of the mind.

The only sense I can make out from your dream, is that, the snake represents the mind/maya, who does not want you to do do His bhakti, so it tries to scare you.

But as a sikh, we should not get scared from it, rather fight it courageously, and smash it, with the aid of His Simran.

Waheguru´s name, is a sword to kill the snake, maya, 5 headed demon or 5 vikars, so use it. 

Once you show it, that you are armed with Waheguru´s name, it will gradually go away, just as you get stable and regular in the practice of His bhakti.
