Just a question can you guys/girls think and do Vaheguru simran at the same time.

my mind is constantly flickering here and there while im trying to do simran, so i try to bring it back and focus on waheguru when doing simran, then it drifts of again and then i bring it back again.

So Vaheguru gives us kaam too ? Vaheguru does everything to ones self? See how deep we can go with this

Waheguru can give no kaam, for He has  no vikaars. He is beyond, all this maya and "koor".

On the contrary, He is an Infinite Ocean of virtues, such as:  prem,  pyaar, bakshish, rehmat, daya, meher, gyan, param anand ....

So all that He has, as seen His virtues above, is that and more, which  He bestows on His bhagats, devotees who  turn their face towards Him.

So let us stop blaming Him for our thick ignorance, of failing to understand and recognize what He really is.

Gurbani is full of His beant apaar mahima, nothing else, and yet, we shamelessly  keep on blaming Him  and doubting Him.

So sad, we fools do not even spare Him, He, the most immaculate, spotless.

Brother, the Bani says, if you repeat His name, all the dirt from your mind shall be washed off, but then, even if one does not believe in Him, then too, He will not give that to you.

One gets trapped by Kaam and vikaars, only, when one turns His face from Him, means, to become a manmukh, and not a gurmukh or gursikh.

Just as Sun can never give darkness but only Light, in a similar way, Wahegurús Jot, bhakti, gives you the power and  gyan, to overcome not only kaam, but any amount of sins and vikaars to be cleansed away.

Stay blessed.

Sat Sree Akal.

So  i have noticed on here, we all have very distinct versions of what Vaheguru is, even when reading the same Guru Grant Sahib Ji,  even when translated in English.

The way I interpret it from my understanding so far Vaheguru is everything, no upar vaala , it's just everything including you.

There is no you or everything as Vaheguru is as is in his perfect state. The you is duality.  When the atma realizes Ik Onkar.  There is no difference.  Soon as the person says you, I, me, we, there is a duality created.  It gives a delusional existence to this 'I'.  True servant of Akal Purakh follow the teachings of Gurmat.

To associate with your arch enemies,

is to live with poisonous snakes;

I have made the effort to shake them off. ||1||

The couple of lines of Gurbani you provided on a different topic is saying the 'i' doesn't exist so how can a kaam act be enjoyed? It's out of enjoyment kaam acts are done and the shabad I provided says Ik Onkar is detached from his play

He assumes so many forms, and plays so many games, and yet, He remains detached from it all. ||2||
