What is free will in sikhi?

Everyone  has free will. This is the basic building block of creation or the greatest gift of creator. People do stuff out of ignorance due to not knowing their real self.

They are doing it to themselves since there is only one of us. Blame or not blame, accept or complain, argue, destroy..... is ones choice. The creation will go on until all realize there is only one of us and then maybe it will start over it’s a play of consciousness.

Gurbani says Vaheguru takes some off the path of Sikhi and also puts some on the path of Sikhi.  Some people Vaheguru makes as kings and in the next split second crushes them and makes them into beggars.  Its Vaheguru play.  He does as he choses.   Free will is an illusion of the mind like saying you exist as an individual person.

ਇਕਿ ਆਪੇ ਉਝੜਿ ਪਾਇਅਨੁ ਇਕਿ ਭਗਤੀ ਲਾਇਅਨੁ ॥

Some, He causes to wander in the wilderness, while others are committed to His devotional worship.

ਜਿਸੁ ਆਪਿ ਬੁਝਾਏ ਸੋ ਬੁਝਸੀ ਆਪੇ ਨਾਇ ਲਾਈਅਨੁ ॥

He alone understands, whom the Lord causes to understand; He Himself attaches mortals to His Name.

The 2nd line means that you cannot understand the concept of free will merely through Internet discussion boards. Only God can make you understand.

From the first line its understood Vaheguru does all.  However you believe free will exist, according to the second line?  So can you define free will for it can be discussed?

If free will is an illusion then there is no point of existence. If all is on auto pilot then why we did Guru Nanak and ten Gurus came wrote SGGS. Why did Guru Gobind said to take Amrit? To whom were they preaching. Whaeguru should have left us all alone to figure it out whatever it is. Why did other prophets came to preach to who and what? Your answer just like any other leaves one with more questions than any answer or direction.
