can sangat ji recommend what to read or listen for upcoming prakash purab. It might be a few months away,but preparation for such a huge upcoming jor mela will just increase sharda and kirpa when the time comes.

I love Bhai Vir Singh Ji's writing.It lowers the prabhav of kaljug in my opinion.It gets rid of that laziness and ignorance of the mind caused from not japping naam and evokes that deep love that puratan sikhs had for maharaj.As a result,one wakes up at amritwela with that love fresh in mind and if maharaj is happy then it means even more kirpa,and it's an upward slope from there.It's even written in English for blockheads like me.

Without the support of the Lord's name in the mind, heart and body everything else is a ritual of mistaken belief. The Lord's name is everything. The effect of this recitation, this loving recitation, this godly recitation is: That, the eyes become full of honey, then full of nectar, then there is so much nectar that even the eyelids become full of nectar, then with half closed nectar filled eyes, one pulls the pupils upwards in a reverse impulse. In this way, the nectar fined lotus eyes deviate and with deviation stop looking outwardly. These half closed eyes that were looking outwardly now see the inner centre of beauty and get focused on it so much that they see all ecstasy and unknowingly get immersed in the infinite sea of nectar and get lost in it. The nectar that goes into the deep inner self, does not let you know about time, and does not let you know where you were sitting and where you are now. It does not let you know what has happened. When you get immersed in the infinite sea of nectar, then you rise above time and space
