Gurdwara Shaheed Singh Singhnia in Lahore marks the site of execution of thousands of puratan Singhs . The Gurdwara was built with efforts of UK sikhs

And singhnia during Mir Mannu's time . Gurdwara marking the shaheedi of Bhai Taru Singh is also nearby . The Gurdwara is built on top of Shaheedganj mosque where execution of Sikhs used to happen.

Now I understand that is why the Muslims claimed that location as theirs.

It's so they can commemorate where they used to execute kaffirs.
