Do you iron your kenyan turban ?

For those who tie the kenyan style turban, do you always iron your pagh after folding it, or do you just tie it after ironing ?  I have never really ever ironed it, I just tie it after folding it.  Have you ever done both ? Does it make a difference ?  Also I wonder, how long do you tie that pagh until you change it ?

They look like they iron it, steam it, blow dry it, then iron it again, then tie it and then iron it again while it's on their head.  By the time they done with it looks more like a little hat than a pagh.

If without mava/starch, then tie it daily and change it regularly. I know many of my wider family who do this. Some choose to starch and may not change it as frequently. If your skill at folding is good, you will not need to iron it.

I've watched my dad tie his pagh loads of times and he's never ironed it (he does starch it tho)

Yes makes a big difference, sharper folds, looks much neater than tying after teh
