Exactly, It is a Bajjar Kurhet to cut, trim, dye your hair and means you become a patit and have to go Pesh in front of the Panj Pyare and be blessed with Amrit again.

ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਾ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੀ ਫ਼ਤਹਿ

Right. Calling a hair cutter "amritdhari" is wrong.

They are not "amritdhari", they are "patit".

I was not aware of this. I suppose this is a good compromise but I still find it really strange.

This is not a "compromise". It's just another way of a person rebelling against God and trying to fool him, which isn't possible.

Anyways, the answer to your question is that anybody can do whatever they want, including cutting hair.

But if you present yourself as an amritdhari and you violate the rehit, include the very basic rehit of not cutting your hair, you are a fake and a fraud.

By the Khalsa panth. Guru Sahib gave the Guruship to the ongoing institution of the Panj Piyare. They carry on the tradition of maintaining Khalsa rehit.

But tjere are countless panj piyare there, every gurudwara has their own panj piyare with their own maryada. How do we know who is right.... ?

Which ones are ACCEPTED ?

Read a bit of history and you will realise how until 1900s only Budha Dal was authorised to prepare and distribute Amrit. Unfortunately, jathebandis' (who too deserve respect) aim to be higher than the panth, has ruined the original maryada. Good day!
