Numbering 28 million they are the 3rd highest faith in terms of numbers in India.

Not sure how Christianity came to India. But from various articles I have read it was forced on the people by the Portuguese. These bastards forcibly converted thousands to Christianity during their brutal rule in the south of India.

its just as brutal as what you bhamans used to do

You should be careful when generalising and using the term Brahmin. There are many different types and sub groupings of Brahmin. Hence its wrong to generalise the whole group based on actions of some.

Anyways not sure why you are talking about such things as this is about Christians and how they converted.

I went india last year and i saw punjabi christians in some kind of christian gathering place and the pastor and his family let us into his house and at the end of his bible katha he gave out free food.

But it was weird. He told us that he can get ghosts out of peoples bodies and that. My mom forced me to go and the pastor guy invited us to his house and he put his hand on my head and oil on my forehead and said something like "shoo shoo" to get any bad spirits out of me ?

Also my mom forced me to go to this Narula pastor guys event thing where there were like hundreds of punjabi christians all over the place and narula was getting ghosts out of possesed people and puts his hand on them and they faint by him shouting "fire fire" again and again. I didnt believe any of it though i bet they were all paid actors and actresses, but maybe there were a few real possesed people that he didnt go by. It was crazy and kind of scary cuz there were crazy people screaming soo loud like they were possesed for real. Search him on youtube lol

When narula walked past me, my mom pushed me close to him and i got pushed back by his body guards. I think he calls them his "sevadaars" or something.

Worst trip ive ever had man.

My mom just kept on forcing me to go to these weird places to get any "bad spirits" out of me or something like that or any "jaddoo" taken off me. She kept saying ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਤੇਨੂ ਕੁਝ ਕੀਤਾ or something like that

Christianity has actually failed in India. Despite the British ruling India, the millions of £££ sent to India, the missionaries etc  with all this effort Christianity should have a massive % in India. Many countries that the brits took over ended up becoming Christian.  But Christianity never took of in India like it did in Many other countries. Look at Africa, many African countries even adopted English.

I think the reason is that they havnt indianized Christianity so it never took off.

Islam spread a lot though sufism, shrine worshipping, qwaalis etc which is very indianish

Gurbani takes away all the bad spirits from us. No need to look for anyone else except Guru Sahib ji.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
