i think he doesnt really know what he's doing, and I don't think he'd be a good representation for us because he's really not into sikhi. That said, I hope our apnay people don't all go and vote for him simply because he looks like one of us.I think he won't win this upcoming election in 2019 and I think the pc party is going to win after the SNC lavalin scandal destroyed trudy and his rep,but NDP may have a decent chance in 2023 as their support is growing and overcoming liberals.
In 2015,the seats in the house of commons was like this, blue conservative, red liberal orange ndp:

However, after this scandal, and the burnaby election and him becoming head of NDP,he challenges trudeau in the parliment and makes himself a reputation as a visible minority leader gaining publicity.

I don't like his strategy, of  playing the victim card of racism and bullying as you can see on their website:https://www.ndp.ca/jagmeet

I think their modern day socialists.Just look at some of their quotes on the above website:

"The defining feature of the NDP - of every New Democrat - is that we are not only offended by inequality, we put everything we have into fighting it.”

or

New Democrats are champions for people – not corporations or the ultra-rich. We believe in building a society that is more equal and more just for everybody

It just sounds like code for wealth distribution and equality of outcome. Though he may just be using these ideas as a frontier to gain votes and may act differently if elected but I doubt it.I think people are fed up of just having conservatives and liberals as two choices only and the NDP is kind of seen as the new thing which is in the middle.

I have no idea what that's supposed to mean. Does he commit bajjer kurehits? Do you have any proof he doesn't do Nitnem?

So what are you talking about?

Haters Alert(!)

Maybe by people's own narrow minded definition, he isn't "into Sikhi" but what do you know? You spent time with him, done veechaar with him? Or is there a video or article to suggest he isn't "into Sikhi". Must be someone from UK who said that lol

N then there's the jokers who call him egotistical because he takes really good photos. #jealousy

I dont like his policies. And i think he just follows the crowd. But as a sikh, its important to support other sikhs. We shouldnt be pulling each other down all the time.

If u cant count on sikhs ppls help, who else is there?

In an ideal world, ur race and creed shouldnt matter esp in polotics.  But in reality it does.

Eh, vote him in and see what happens. If he works against Sikh interests, at least you'll know for sure.

Only an <banned word filter activated> would vote based on "Sikh interests." Question is, will his policies benefit average middle class Canadians? Or is he just going to tax the middle class, and start welfare state etc.
