If I make it known what bani i recited, it won't take too much effort to ascertain the issues that were plaguing me, and to be honest I don't want a difficult and painful period of my life being mulled over or commented on by faithless cynics and others of a similar mindset. Apologies.

The number of Baanis in Sri Dasam granth are not that many. You were either reciting Jaap sahib, chaupai , tav parsad sawaiyye , akal ustat  or chandi di vaar/charitar.  Again none of that say what problem u had lol

It has helped many Singhs myself included.

It should be made mandatory at Gurdwara's like it was between 1850-1920

In another story guru gobind singh ji tells us that when he came of age his father, guru tegh bahadur ji, made guru ji take an oath by him that he will love his wife as much as he can but not even in his thoughts think of another man's wife.
