Do the ideas of Nations & Borders fit in a Sikh framework?

What people confuse for communism is more like altruistic anarchy or alrtuistic tribalism.

Only two laws governed the Seattle Natives. Respect and Share. There were caps on how much you could harvest of any one thing, they only worked three months a year, and then spent nine months celebrating the Ultimate Creator Spirit and the Earth Mother. You could heap up extra every year, but you were only great if you shared it with everybody in the communal Spiritual feasts and dances that made up most the year.

All Native American tribes had clans devoted to different animals and elements dedicated to being stewards of that animal or thing.

They knew everything sang it's own songs and they could hear them.

Sidenote: They kept Kesh.

This concept of stewardship for this planet, all life, each other. Living timelessly in a way that gives seven generations down the line a beautiful planet? Being responsible? Eliminating and curtailing greed and rape?

Sure there are communal or collaborative things about that. But dont confuse any of that with "communism".

Ultimate example for us all. What I can only describe as the Altruistic Anarcho Capitalist Conservationist Revolutionary Indescribable way the Guru Sahiban, Gursikhs and the Khasla rose up a 1's Kingdom from nothing but Courageous Goodness.

Talk about an invasion. No matter what country, no matter how horrible a time, Akal Purakh Vaehguru sets up shop and liberates it with nothing. Leading from the front. Sacrificing everything.

No wonder history doesn't teach Sikhi. Embarassing to everyone else who thinks they're anything in history.

Only people who wouldn't be absolutely humbled, humiliated and shamed are Indigenous Tribes and Clans and the Persian Empire. Not that they were at all on the same level but at least they're closer to it than what this world celebrates as civilization.

Amen to that bro. And really the nuclear family model itself is an occupied state. Extended family model is present in all the great People's.

Whatever model of family, community is decided, there are always problems. This is because of our limited understanding of our purpose on earth and the universe.

There has already been an ideal society that existed as all were following Dharmic teachings and humans were much fewer in number yet we could not sustain Satyug forever.

Now we are in Kalyug and those demons controlling the universe believe they should rule earth forever but think there are too many of us and hence are trying to reduce our numbers and appear to be succeeding.

It is up to us individually and collectively to stop this by whatever methods are possible. This may be by advancing spiritually or taking physical and practical steps to overcome this impending doom and tyranny.

However most if us have become accustomed to a comfortable and easy existence and are at a loss as to what we should do.  We do not know how or when to fight as we have been duped and mentally colonised for centuries.

To break out from this psychological prison we need to understand our true powers which means overcoming fear and attachments to things that ultimately are less important than the protection of our souls which is being harvested through varyjng strategies.

As India is where civilisation began and has an understanding of universal truth I am hoping she will ultimately prevail over existing attempts to destroy her culture and civilisation which believes in the rights of individuals to have agency over themselves and their communities.

Unfortunately she now is amongst some who believe that is not so due to selfish and wrongful desires that could result in the destruction of the universe itself. I do not say this lightly as I am very well aware of the technology available that can easily achieve this as many others are also.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
