Hindu never bring up this kind of stuff, they always use the nice parts from their scriptures like the meditation, yoga, festivals, colours etc, that is how the hindu preachers like that jaggu vasudev sadhguru guy present their faith. they discard all the ugly parts and preach the yoga and meditation. Hindus have basically whitewashed their ugly past.

They always moan about the mughal genocide and suppression but how was the bhamans shaving the heads of their widows or pouring boiling oil into the ears of shudras any different to what the mughals did!?   yet you never hear hindus talk about their ugly past, only the invaders are the villains. The bhamans enslaved and broke the backbone of Indians way before the invaders came into the picture.

But videos like the one above, which happens everyday up and down the country shows that their mindset is still the same

I don't know where you got this, but it's a jumble of bad stuff, acceptable stuff, and weird stuff.

-I don't know what's wrong with not marrying a woman whose antecedents you don't know.

-Without going into specific defects, it seems quite obvious that you don't want to marry someone with excessive defects, because the entire point of marriage is to produce healthy children.

-Don't be alone with a woman? How is this bad? It's a really bad idea to be alone with a woman who isn't your wife (or your family).
