By reciting gods name as much as possible/ as often as possible. Mool mantar/waheguru mantar/ choupai sahib etc.

It doesn't happen, usually, through theoretical means. Most of the time the process of mental strength is a result of a preceding period of trauma or adversity that leaves a mark on the individual. If one hasn't been completely defeated and bowed by those difficult experiences, a good place to begin the rebuilding process is a lot of honest and stark introspection. Don't fall into the obvious trap of externalising all your problems on a third party. Be ultra critical of yourself, and decide whether there was any deficiencies in your own character and conduct that may have contributed to your issues. If you can't be honest with yourself, life is virtually worthless on so many levels.

Manufacturing mental rigidity because you want to be safe and well-prepared is absolutely possible but doesn't quite have that same urgency and "sting" as someone who is forced to develop that inner strength and rigidity through necessity. Pain is a great motivator and teacher. Regardless, a good place to start is by assessing the 5 Thieves. Analyse how they affect you on a specific basis, and then proceed from there.

In terms of Sikhi, reciting certain Gurbani does grease the wheels as it were, but it needs to be utilised in tandem with other activities.

Somehow they called my name and afterwards I felt strangely calm and confident even when hassled by adults

Very insightful.

I think surviving a few dangerous situations you've found yourself in when young and subsequently too - and the way this changes you psychologically can't really be replicated.

Bravery involves facing danger. My belief is that if one has the constitution, repeated exposure to danger sort of desensitises a person (for better or for worse). But for that, you need to grow up in adversary - or have neglectful parents - or have a wild streak of your own that gets you in trouble. lol

I think dasmesh pita used hunting to simulate the danger and rush of warfare though, and it seemed to have worked a treat.

katha also helps - u cud even listen to something u have heard before but still pick somethin out tht grabs ur attention n keep it wiv u as guidance for the rest of ur life...it really depends on wat we have already experienced in life, our mood, surroundings etc.

but as mentioned above nothing beats real life experience - try takin urself out of comfort zones n experience a bit of the unknown...cuz its a dark world...n we learn from wat we rememba as support to toughen ourselves for future challenges later in life

We need to learn to be super confident and super self believing in all scenarios God places us in.

I've been slandered a million times, people I loved have left me, I've been beaten and I'm still going by God's grace and only by his grace. When life breaks you, it's God breaking your ego. You then need to walk with your head in your hand without the ego. Show kindness and compassion to yourself and others and inner strength and willpower of steel, whilst being resilient in your resolve to live life and fight for want you want in life. We must live being good people not getting caught in the foolishness of the khel.

We need to have an I don't care attitude about the <banned word filter activated> insecurities and fears of others and walk on the straight and narrow path in life where many choose not to.

This is what I've learned. We need to become our best selves, and walk the path strong and with integrity.

By practice. Put urself in situations that are scary to u. If u have public speaking fear, then do speeches. Also join martial arts and participate in competitions. It will simulate the adrnaline rush u get in danger. Whenever u feel scared to do something, like speak up, stand up for someone, to do a good deed, see if its good and do it.

Also practice the mindset, i am a son/daughter of Guru Gobind Singh ji so have nothing to fear. Try to walk confidently and think that
