Controversial view, but their ‘city Sikhs’ name is a way for them to separate their identity from the majority of Sikhs from rural background and to tell other Sikhs ‘we are educated’

yes, they do not represent most Sikhs

This is how they like apnay in the city sectors, blatantly lacking in any attributes that might challenge the status quo.

Plus I can bet that most of these people will have rural backgrounds too, if we went back just a few generations.

Why are they standing like as if they have dildos shoved up their backsides?  And I'm guessing the whacky sense of fashion  is their way of making themselves look like  modern progressive city sikhs.

These kind of people see their white "friends" as a badge of honour    like a medal on their suit

These are the establishment-approved roadblocks and obstacles placed in the path of a Sikh who has designs of reasserting the non-watered-down version of his religion and wishes to assert the rights and independence of his people. They'll use his "own" to try and take him down at first. If he manages to swat away these flies, then they'll send in the big boys from the mainstream power base to test the dissenter's mettle.
