This thread is for women to answer you can be as honest as you like. Dont try and be nice and say the right thing.

First of all what I have noticed ia that women always go for slim guys. You will rarely see a girl who goes out with a fat guy. You will even get women who go with below average looking guys.

But for some reason women hate us fatties. Why is this? Can you explain???

I remember when I was slim I had alot more interest from opposite sex. But since Ive gone fat which has been a long time now. Women find me unattractive even though i am a decent looking guy. It seems like fat guys are a big no no.

As a guy I actually prefer women who are full figured. Yet it seems women arr only interested in skinny guys??? Why????

Can some women explain the psychology for wanting a slim guy instead of fat guys. Please explain. I dont mind you being honest as possible.

Just let me know why women will not go near a fat guy like me ???

it is biological wiring , if you look like you can handle yourself in a fight a girl will be interested , if you look like you will live a long time and with vigour you are a better life partner prospect than a weak looking or unhealthy looking specimen ( skinny or fat). Fit and strong is the measure , that is probably why Bollywood went from flabby heroes like Rajesh Khanna to built ones like the current crop. Personality/character  is a good measure of a person but initial impressions count , if somebody is unfit it suggests an attitude of not caring about oneself and therefore the chance that person will not care about other aspects of their life  . But there is the other side of the coin if the guy is fixated on his build and looks where is the chance of him caring about others including the girl? Middle path is best, do your duty to be ready for anything, good or bad and you'll be good

Guys like fit but curvy girls for the same reasons , healthy kids are more possible with her than a skinny girl or an overly heavy girl, because hormone issues happen on either end of the scale. There is real biological preferences for the hourglass shape , if you think about it who would you prefer Salma Hayek or Kiere Knightly  most guys would go for Salma.

Media has a lot to do with how women and men are influenced to have certain preferences towards their 'ideal' partner, 'drummed into submission' so we believe we might like a slim/fit guy but that isn't necessarily our true beliefs. Some years ago i was trapped into believing that a handsome fit guy was the being all and end all i needed and it turns out that i met the most interesting, caring honest guy who yes was overish weight but what did that matter he was such a beautiful person i surpassed all those doubts and cliches about 'fat people'.

Mostly conditioning. Remember that once upon a time, in some cultures, being an overweight man highlighted your wealth because you were able to afford large meals, whereas being lean and muscular meant you were a manual labourer with little income.

But as Sikhs, we should avoid gluttony. Being overweight can affect your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

There might be some genetic disorders eg prader-willi where the man has an inability to feel satiated. But they will be far and few between.

There are a lot of people who are like this for instance my mum side are all heavy my dad side are not they all eat the same Indian food but because if their DNA mum side gets fat my dads side doesn't. It's just how it is.
