Patiala "royal" family

The so called "royal" family of Patiala are traitors and have been traitors for generations.

The founder of the family Ala Singh who also was head of the Phulkian misl was a traitor and even helped the Afghans family of Abdali invade Punjab several times.

After M. Ranjit Singh became maharaja of the Punjab the descendants of Ala Singh were constantly rebelling against the Sikh empire and conspiring with the British.

During the Anglo Sikh wars the Patiala family faught with the British against the Sikhs.

Once the British secured their rule in Punjab the kings of the patiala family were among the biggest @ss lickers of the british and supporters of the empire.

And now we have captain Amrinder a descendant of the same family who is calling every Singh who speaks for Sikhs a khalistani terrorist. Punjabi is being replaced with hindi and sikh history is being removed.  I really can't stand the look of that fat pig amrinder.

Also they aren't maharajas, maharajas don't pay taxes, the patiala family used to pay the Lahore darbar tax and then had to pay the british tax.

They are the biggest traitors, same level as dogra brothers and lal and tej singh

Fat pig is at it again. He just linked Khalistanis with Pakistani terrorism, and said that NRIs are radicalising Pubjabis.

Funny how he links Khalistan with Pakistan when it's a well know fact that his side chick is a paki sl@g  Aroosa Alam from Pakistan.

The Captain really is a special kind of stupid.

I'm surprised ravi called captain intelligent!  Or maybe he was just being sarcastic

He probably is intelligent but just not in the way we think, he's been banging the whole "NRI's support Khalistani terrorism" for year's now, it's probably ingrained into him that he has to leave a legacy, the whole "Royal family" thing is all but defunct now so he's finding a different way to leave a mark, his is to make things difficult for NRI's (look at Juggy) so none of them come to India and mention Khalistan and pump up the locals.

Ravi Singh runs an aid organization, they do work in India (currently the floods in Punjab) so you have to say things to get your foot in the door.

He's a product of a bygone age of Maharaja's who have a certain "I'm better than you" mentality, I've always been fascinated how maharajas would keep a dastaar and full beard yet most of them were anything but Sikh and only ever looked out for themselves and if they helped the locals they would constantly remind them of it like they were doing them a favour.

They weren't even maharajas but just rajas. Maharajas don't pay taxes to anyone, while rajas pay taxes to the maharajas. These clowns of patiala played the Lahore darbar taxes for their existence and then later played the british taxes.  The maharaja title was probably given to then by the british for being loyal.

Most of then were british @ss lickers

Theres 2 sides to every story. Why did Ranjit Singh become a maharaja when it was all misls? Because he fought and took over other sikh sardars territories. He tried to fight the patiala raja and take over his raj too. So the patiala raja aligned with the english to protect his raj.

Finally, the sikhs decided they would not fight each other and so decided to spread to the west. Afghanistan, peshawar, past the Atak river.

Are u sure about the patiala raja aligning with abdali? Because all the misl used to come together to fight invaders.

If currently, the patiala royal family head is an <banned word filter activated>, u cant judge the past. The akaali party and taksal and sgpc used to be good instituitions too.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
