Here's a picture of some items of the 'Bhai Maharaj Singh Collection' in the British Library. I think goray took these things off him when they shipped him off to Singapore. Notice the flat karas. This was the best image I could find and it isn't exactly great.

I tried blowing up the chitti in Paint to try and read it but it was too pixelated to make sense of.

was actually watchin somethin a few days ago that touched on their life.

apparently jus 30 minutes walkin/exercise everyday wudve relieved the cancer/illnesses. says somethin wen whitey still feared this sher even in their 70s/80s.

y r these baaghi soorme still largely unknown to the masses? they deserve a lot more recognition.

heres anotha vid. shows his real life portrait, the gurdwara in singapore today n the family lineage still alive.

theres dispute over the name of singapore but its fittin that the name as we knw it means city of lions.

the shastar in the video r flat n thin too.

wonder whether material was at a  premium or more difficult to obtain under colonial rule hence the razor sharp ones?

Man, that painting in the video clip in the OP is awesome. 

I've always wondered what Bhai Maharaj Singh Ji looked like since I first heard about him as a kid, and now we can see.  

Sad but totally predictable how the brits killed him slowly but cruelly through neglect. Shame on them. Tossers.

nice video,  great to see his descendants are Singhs. The Singh with the blue dastar actually looks similar to the painting of Bhai Maharaj Singh

Bhai Maharaj Singh was influenced by Baba Bir Singh Naurangabad  who also was a true saint solider    he used to me a warrior in Maharaja Ranjit Singhs army

This painting was displayed in the exhibition "empire of the Sikhs" in London   i saw it there    the Singh in the video davinder singh toor owns it     hes a collector of sikh artifacts    the clip is actually shot in the exhibition
