Why are very unclothed girls running university sikh societies?

how many of these girls actually know anythin abt sikh bibiyan in sikh history? have any of em actually bothered to do any readin/research into their lives, conduct etc? at the boss camp last yr, the females were asked if they knew the bibi displayed on a banner outside the darbar. not one put their hands up. dnt forget the sangat wud have had amritdhari females present too. thats a joke. its not good enough.

imo organisations like syuk r also to blame. we know they do gd work on grooming, alcohol, drugs awareness n they also work closely with many uni sikh societies all over the uk. but if u read their social media content which is aimed at these females/students n wat these girls read theres actually more western thinkin behind it than there is gurmat/sikhi thought.

an example is tellin these girls to be careful wen they go out, keep vigilant, watch drinks, record taxi reg. plates etc. but y do these girls even need to go out to places like bars/clubs in the first place? thats where these problems happen. it makes no sense. y cant these girls do sangat together in more appropriate places where they wont be targeted by $ulleh or feel pressured by external influences to divulge in anti gurmat activities? theres never been a better time for western apniaan to enjoy the wat boys do in sikhi e.g. learnin raag kirtan, calligraphy, traditional food, languages, wateva girls like doin its allthere. sikhi bein borin aint an excuse. wake up n do sum research. its not hard.

understand that syuk may not wanna alienate these girls from sikhi n may jus wanna bridge the gap in the meantime to let em connect wiv guruji in their own way but but we all know wat theyre abt know. its time they changed the tune n incorporated a bit more sikhi ideals into their posts. these girls will soon have no choice but to take notice.

its also time the boys werent afraid to speak up n tell em how it is. we dnt need to be aggressive n force em away. but its easy to be diplomatic/tactful these days. a simple understandin of their 'stresses' of bein a modern female today wiv gentle awareness of their identity, the beauty of sikhi, the sacrifices, female role models wud be better than sayin n doin nothin.

I think they are trying to deal with ground level realities rather than an idealistic situation. Given that a certain amount of apneean will do this (and have been doing so for decades), we have to deal with this.

We should also try to understand why people are attracted to this.

The trait is arrogance.

An arrogant man maybe attractive to many women but arrogance worn on a woman is very unattractive to a man.

sum seem to prefer that imo. probably gives the impression that these females r strong enough to deal wiv life on their own n so he can have more time to concentrate on his other wordly matters instead? also if he suffers from somethin like depression then she can motivate him in life?

anyway in my eyes theres nothin more unattractive than an apni who imitates the chitti who thinks, talks n acts like a man. the more westernised, the more ugly.

they do have limited resources but at the end of the day their mission is still parchaar. n that can be as basic as we make it. u wud think havin a sevadaar whos likely a female writin this content n probably cums from the same background wud also take into account wat theyre representin at the same time? maybe theyre just the same. not demanding they turn into a vidhyala overnight. were all flawed. but a bit more thought where theres an opportunity wud be much more useful instead of unknowingly encouraging n perpetuating the problem imo.

as for y they do it, we already know most of the reasons. is it the most socially accepted way to have fun? r they jealous of other females who believe they can do wat they want wivout fear of repercussion? is it the look of bein free/independent of any male control? do they have family troubles at home n wanna escape it by the easiest, quickest n cheapest means? do the father/brothers/uncles all drink? the list goes on.

uve already sed it in this thread n in the past as have others. a lot of em r jus sheep as r the males today. its natural behaviour to copy/imitate but wat were seein today in the west is wat cums wiv livin a comfortable n easy life wiv no real or continuous experience of true adverisity/hardship.

In most workplaces particularly offices, the men's dress code is far stricter than the women's dress code.

With the extreme high temperatures a lot of men would like to wear shorts but are not able to do so. Whereas women can wear trousers, long skirts, short skirts, shorts.

In some offices where men can wear short sleeve shirts, they are not allowed t-shirts, they have to be collared or they can wear polo shirts. No such restrictons for women.

there is the eyecandy attitude in workplaces where women are encouraged to wear more  form fitting/ revealing clothes to have a 'more pleasant' work environment for men , even in Japanese  office culture women have to wear heels and skirts  they cannot wear trousers suits. Dress down fridays or smart casual offices do not have strict codes on male wear so guys tend to wear more form fitting fashions like slim leg jeans/ chinos  or even jeggings  and tight T shirts .

Basically what people wear is dictated by fashion houses whether smart casual, casual or suits  and we know that they are pushing towards sexualising everyplace , even school playgrounds with little girls with dodgy messages written across chests or buttocks .

I don't know if you remember a serial called Ally McBeal ... and her outfits  ....lawyers are supposed to be sober and respectfully dressed but these women were not  with mini skirts on their suits and there was a big kerfuffle about it .

There are women who wear these types outfits to get ahead also.

In large corporates you see a lot of game players from both genders and the fitting/revealing clothing is a ploy used by some women.

I used to work at one place and there was a woman who was middle management,  completely useless but knew how to play the game. The moment her job was under threat, the blouses got lower cut, the skirts got shorter.

we all know people who play the system , personally I equate it to being a <banned word filter activated> and find it abhorrent , I believe in earning my position through actual work . There was one woman at my first job in IT who was recognised throughout the company as being in her job because she was bedding the old white dude who was double her age . I couldn't understand how she could be so besharam to prance about the office in that knowledge that everyone knew . I guess she threw out her self-worth the day she decided to start down that road .

Yeah, and having said that much, have the bollo0cks to point the finger at the people who've encouraged and facilitated this 'cultural shift'.

Give you a clue, they have skins that look remarkably similar to this:

B-Landrace-Lola-standing-Credit-Clare-Ro

(and watch out - now that you've mentioned gays Ajeet is likely to turn up and throw a cissy tantrum).

No doubt homosexuality is overwhelmingly a white man's disease and they are trying to spread it and force it on men all over the world. And yes it is a mental illness. Homosexuals are not reproducers, they are recruiters.

Black men to their credit are staying strong so are the Muslims(of all races). Hindus have legalized this illness in India. While Sikhs in India find this act disgusting but sadly the new generation of Sikhs in the West are being brainwashed into accepting this paap filled lifestyle.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
