Dharmic and Abrahamic

you may be able to define some aspects of dharma into English, but English is too basic to properly translate dharma.

When something is a religion as opposed to dharam, then it is more based on ritualism than dharma.

Unfortunately some jathebandis and SGPC (and their decisions and rehits) seemed to have started with looking at sikhi as a religion called sikh"ism" as opposed to a dharmik panth....

I always thought of dharam as duty. 

Yes mazhab is basic stuff like islam and christianity. 

Dharam is above mazhab. Dharam is about experiencing the creator here on earth through meditation, through meditation you start destroying the duality and start experiencing oneness, the one creator. 

Mazhab is following a set of rules and obeying god so you enter heaven after death. No spiritual progress at all. 

Religions are a set of rules that's why people find it easy to understand these religions because they dumb you down and are basic,     dharam is an experience which people find hard to understand at first.

It's one thing to believe exercise makes you fit it's another thing to actually train and get the benefit.

Dharmic faiths such as Sikhism, Hinduism and Buddhism are gaining imence popularity in the west. 

It is something that Islam hates to see. 

So many white people follow dharmic practices. Many have Buddha statues which Muslims detest. 

Concepts such as Karma, yoga and spirituality are admire by white people. 

They are starting to realise there is a big difference between dharma and Abrama

I actually made a topic about this I think. Ie Daru. 

In it I stated the biggest downfall of us Apne is Alcohol. 

Alcohol is a very dangerous substance that can make you go crazy and commit henius acts just like strong drugs can. 

These guys looked like they were out of it and p1ssed off their t1ts. So probably could not defend themselves when they were being slashed. 

Why would Apne do this to other Apne?? seems like there is more to this.

If you look at substances charted by adictiveness, and also destructiveness, alcohol tops the charts. It's like crack and most the world sleeps on that fact

but it aint easy as that, alcohol for many is a get away or used for coping. look at how many punjabi men sit alone in the living room with a bottle in front of them,  that isnt normal behavior. iv seen many depressed men in my family and they use alcohol.    depression and mental health is a big thing among south asian men and black men in the uk,   this alcohol thing is a lot more deeper than people think     its not gnna be that simple resolving it

I hear this regularly. In your opinion, what do you think is the root cause of this depression? Not enough support / understanding from their wives? Pressures back home? A general existential despair?
