Yeah but people suffer in hell for 1000s of years, also earth days are different to hell days. I'm saying that based on peoples near death experiences iv listened to. Some people, including non Sikhs, say how they were in hell and it felt like 1000s of years but when they woke up on earth it was just a couple of hours. So those people like KPS Gill etc I'm sure they are still in Narak and the families that they destroyed they will see the torture when they go to the next world. I was actually listening to a Jewish Rabbis NDE and he said he felt like he was In torture for centuries but when he snapped out of his NDE it was still the same day on earth. 

A few years back I was listening to katha at the Gurdwara,  and Singh said he personally knows a family of Punjabis in the UK who were very non religious, committed every sin, lived degenerate lives, apart from one lady from the family who did a lot of sewa at the Gurdwara but she was very rude, always had a go at the sangat. She got really ill and "died" in the hospital. She then ended up in Narak and saw horrific things, people being punished with the worst kind of torture etc When it was her turn to be judged, Dharamraj told her that if he had it his way he would have sent her straight to Narak, but Dharamraj said that one of the Guru's, it was either Guru Ramdas Ji or Guru Arjan Dev ji i can't remember, gave him orders that she should be given a second chance! and this time to do sewa properly and not be horrible to the sangat. Aftet this she woke up on the hospital bed and was alive again.  What stuck out to me the most was that that Singh doing katah said that while she was in Narak, she saw her family, relatives etc already in Narak hanging with ropes around their necks! while they were sill alive on earth!     I mean we can't give any explanation for that, at least not based on how things work on earth, but she saw her own living family members already hanging in Narak. 

So things work very differently in the next world, I don't think time, physical form, laws of nature etc actually exist up there. So I'm sure the countless families who lost loved ones because of KPS Gill, Rajiv Gandhi etc  they will get justice and see them murderers getting tortured. 

None of us have seen it, but based on other peoples experiences, you definitely get justice. 

Like the Jewish Rabbi who had a NDE, he saw his mother up there who had already died years ago. He used to steal money from his mothers purse and buy drugs. While in the next world all that came before him, his mother started crying and he had to explain to her and everyone else why he was stealing money from her. He said you feel absolutely humiliated, everyone is watching and you have to explain your actions in front of everyone. I've read the same thing in bani as well, bani says you're humiliated in the next world, which makes sense ...

I'd hope the punishments are little more thoughtful and far-reaching than something that I could do with a bit of initiative in the land of the living.

This is an argument that atheists regularly use to criticise religious folk, i.e. for people who profess to be above the depraved yearnings of irreligious humanity, we Godly people sure do seem to relish seeing people butchered and punished, lol.

Well I'm sure I'll get my teeth knocked out based on some things I've done lol!   Yeah the idea of hell and why a loving God would torture his people is like one of the biggest criticisms of religion.

But in the age of Kalyug we don't realise how huge some of the sins are, sins which are considered harmless, normal, fun and natural. Its considered normal to look at the opposite gender and "admire" them. But in Ramayan when Sita went missing and Ram showed Sita's blouse to his brother Lakhsman and asked him if its the blouse Sita was wearing before she went missing, Lakhsman replied saying he doesn't know because he has never looked at Sita above her ankles. If someone like Lakhsman was walking around today looking at the ground because he doesn't want to look at anyone's sister or wife, he would be considered a weirdo, incel, virgin, freak, people would probably record him on their phone and make the video viral and take the mick. In todays Kalyugi society its hard for us to imagine some of these things as sins because they are the social norms. 

But then there's God mercy as well, God is forgiving etc Are we not supposed to have faith in Gods mercy ?

There's a traditional mindset on this forum that isn't necessarily something to be ashamed of. The word "tradition" seems to have taken on connotations akin to Nazism amongst the younger people, which proves how the incessant brainwashing has done its job. Apparently, wanting to hold on to harmless values and traditions is evil and hateful. The march to so-called progress will never cease, lol.
