Sardar Kapoor Singh was the first ICS (indian civial services)sikh officer in british india , he was a great scholar, his services were terminated by indian government after indipendence becasue he was discriminated being a sikh and he made aware the public of circular which was issued by indian home department right after the indipence declaring the sikhs as a crime minded people . Kapoor singh was the first person who mastermined the famous Anandpur sahib resolution . he wrote a book named " saachi saakhi" in which he has made it clear how the sikhs lost the chance of getting their own home land when britishers were leaving india. he was a great sikh scholor but was always sidelined by so called " akalis" he passed away in 1987
