christianity was no different than muslim faith they converted through the sword too .look at modern christians who kidnapped and beat and indoctrinated native tribes of people , still doing it ....

so true! christianity created so much zulm in this world, people often look at the little old ladies in church and think thats how Christians have always been. christianity has casued more death in history than any other religion.

christians used to set women on fire accusing them of being witches

the Spanish inquisition, one of the most horrific torture methods that make islamic torture look pale, the priests used to order large pyramids to be inserted into the females genitals till they were torn apart.

look at the goan inquisitions

the puritans

they used to shave the hair of widows and call children born outside of marriage b@stards

they arrived at the shores of many countries with the cross in their hand and carried out genocide on the natives

the popes have the bloody history, the popes are responsible for the death of millions

Christianity was barbaric

it served a political  purpose and no longer does so thats why they are fast dumping it

sikhs need to know about this stuff, christians are taking advantage    what Christianity was in the past is what islam is today.

the goans that are so proud of their Christianity were subject to the same torture during the goan inquisitions   thats how they became christians

funny you say that when the pioneers of britsh punjabi bhagra were tarkhans from kenya,

Shame on them then! lol

Nothing wrong with the odd prance about (if that's what you're into), but when you make the whole panth synonymous with it, it turns us into a joke.

Plus don't even try and shift responsibility. Bhangra is Panjabi barn dancing. We all know where it comes from.

Interesting fact about Goa is that the southern part of Goa is predominantly Christian, the northern parts are still mainly Hindu.

There are mandirs which are of Portuguese design but you notice that there are sarovars of a much older design.

It seems quite obvious that the original temples were demolished and rebuilt .

The Portuguese like the Spaniards were under muslim rule for centuries and it seems quite apparent they picked up a few things from them.

Odd prance? lmao mate they layed the foundation of british bhangra scene got OBEs from the queen for it, which Kenyan sikhs absolutely love getting, and been prancing around since then.  They the ones that got the the panth synonymous with it with is them their Kenyan paghs.   Like I said man playing dhol with Kenyan pagh and peirced eyebrow is the image of british bhangra.

If theres one community that is drifting further away from sikhi in the uk with dwindling sangat levels in their gurdware which is no secret then dont look too far,  from all the communities the youth from that community has the least interest in sikhi with even the bazurgs with trimmed beards and goatees. The committees need to stop spending money building jassa Singh ramgharia statutes and ramgharia dance halls and be more concerned about the lack of interest among the youth in that community. Otherwise the collapse ain't too far
