Punjab has become an attractive state for migration especially given that unlike in other states there is no opposition to these migrants settling and buying land in Punjab.

Below are the figures for the places of birth of people resident in Punjab during the 2011 census. On rough figures 89% of the people of Punjab are born in the state. Of those born in states like Delhi, UP and Bihar many thousands of these may be Sikh migrants who left these states after 1984 genocide. But the places of birth do to tell the full picture because the migrant labourers now have their families with them so many tens of thousands of their children are born in Punjab so they are included in the born within state of enumeration. 

From the figures below it is likely that at least 15% of the total population of Punjab is made up of migrants

Demographic replacement. Another long-term Indian ploy. Create an environment for Sikhs where they can't excel, forcing them to leave their lands, while simultaneously shipping in a workforce who'll take up the slack and occupy the roles vacated by the native population. Eventually, push will come to shove when the migrant population reaches a critical mass and they begin demanding more and more concessions and rights, and then you'll see "riots" when the reality finally dawns on Sikhs, by which time it will be too late. In the interests of fairness, Sikhs don't make it easy on themselves. The fact that they can't see what I've described above as something that will play out over the course of decades, is an unfortunate indictment on their intelligence. Nipping something in the bud before it has a chance to sprout is infinitely preferable to arresting an inevitability that cannot be reversed.

like a lot of those gypsies, im not sure what they are but the ladies dress like rajasthani ladies and they live in tents in fields, most of them speak Punjabi now    they call them gadiyan walle.   

as long as they assimilate is it not ok?  or a i missing something here?

When their young males begin to "intermingle" with Sikh females of a similar age at colleges and schools, how do you see that going down? Unless they literally become Sikhs, which isn't happening, it's a huge problem. It's a Buddhist Vs Rohingya situation in the making, mark my words.

idnno  i cant see that happening on a big scale,  end of the day they are still bhaiyas in their eyes. people arent even allowed to marry out of their castes let alone marry a bhaiya     

and because of their darker skin and smaller physique i doubt it females would be queuing up for them. you can spot a migrant worker in punjab from miles away.

it will probably happen on a smaller scale but not become something out of control

biggest problem will be when they refuse to assimilate, and unite and ask for more rights  like you wrote above
