They are being provided food and water from the canteen of the cattle feed factory where these trucks are stationed. Local people run that factory.

The crux of the matter is Sikhs have only done Langar not Prachar. Had both gone together we would have been able to convince people who partake Langar became Sikhs. But this hasn't happened and as a result our numbers are dwindling day by day.

Your attempt to turn Santji into another SJW to justify your own agenda has failed. In fact its clear that Santji understood that the installing of an idol was useless and it would have been better to have bought a gun. The idol was also installed not on the instruction of Santji but by one of his followers who Santji said was soft hearted. 

 

Why did Sant ji help a hindu shopkeeper?  Why did Sant ji help a hindu wife who was being harassed by the in laws.  Why did Sri HarGobind sahib walk out with 52 rajas and not by himself when he was allowed too? Why did Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib ji give his head for hindu pandits?

Time is not far when our Gurdwaras will turn into drive through restaurants type langars. Where there will be no need to mathatek or sit in sangat. The way things are going with our current way of thinking you will simply drive to a small window at the side of a gurdwara get your free food and drive off. 

 

How we have taken the concept of Langar out of its original context is sad to say the least. We no longer give importance to the real important things like naam simran, reading bani, keeping rehit which essentially makes a Sikh a Sikh and instead have turned our dharm into a food feeding dharm. And all this has happened within our lifetime.

These people all CAME to Santji and asked for his help. He didn't go around Punjab looking for people that needed his help. All the people that the Khalsa helped were people who came asking for help. I am sorry but your lack of critical thinking is shocking. You do that each and every event has a context and a backgound and you don't just take a superficial view and use that you colour your view of the world.

he helped only those who CAME TO HIM FOR HELP and requested personally with nimrata , he didn't go chase after people begging to help them unlike these NGO guys . Even Guru ji responded to requests/bentian direct to himself . it was the BENTI ...not anything else .

Langar should have stayed in Gurdwarey , where people who want help can come to the door with nimrata , in foreign countries I can understand homeless outreach , but in India there are so many gurdwarey , there is no  excuse to allow beadbhi of langar  if people want it they can come and get it , I mean so many gurdwarey are now converted to  pick up points/food banks .

Whether they asked or not the fact of the matter is, Sant ji helped non Sikhs even when Sikhs needed help.  Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib ji at a young age did not leave the jail until 52 hindu rajas left with him.  Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji stood up to Babur for Babur to stop his slaughter of non Sikhs.  Bhai kanhaiya ji basically did first aid (what it was at that time) on anyone in the battle who needed it.  There are many examples of Sikhs and the Gurus helping non Sikhs.  Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji stuck out his neck for non Sikhs when there was probably only a handful of Sikhs in the world. That was the time to grow the religion and Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji is putting his neck on the line.
