INCREDIBLY disturbing dreams after simran

Recommended Posts

So I usually do one hour amritvela simran but today maharaj kirpa I did 2. I went back to sleep for 2 hours and had the most disgusting, disturbing dream that I can’t even mention on here. There’s those kaam dreams just about kurheits and then there’s the most deep, disgusting dark dream I had, no exaggeration.

This happened to me a couple of days back when I missed amritvela so I thought it was a sign to get up, but now it’s happening after simran.

Please help I feel so disgusting. I feel like I deserve to be punished in narak for this disgusting dream.

I don’t even think of kaam throughout the day. I do simran in my head and I read books on Sant mahapurash. I’ve began to keep some of sarbloh rehat (not all yet just incorporated batta into my life and completely stopped eating from outside). I also read more than 7 baniyan a daily. So I don’t understand why this is happening!!!!

I once dreamt I voted Conservative and put a thumbs up like on one of dallysingh100s messages. I know exactly what you mean when you talk about disgusting and disturbing dreams.

Sorry this is a long reply. I can tell you are really into Sikhi and naam simran, so you deserve a full answer to your question.

Doing simran raises your consciousness from body awareness towards soul awareness (man tu jot saroop hai). Your soul is pure and originated from God, but is surrounded by maya. Imagine a diamond worth millions covered in layers of dried mud. Soul is covered in dirt of paap (bad deeds).

Imagine how much paap is stuck to our soul from millions of lives. When you do your amrit vela simran, paap is being cleaned from your soul. Imagine the diamond being cleaned with a brush - the dirt comes off in pieces. And simran will take the paap off bit by bit too.

Like we can scrub the diamond to break down the dirt, but dirt will remain on the surface. You then have to go and hold it under the tap to let remaining loose dirt wash away, right? These paap or karma which detach from your soul have to go somewhere. Think of a bullet fired from a gun, the bullet can’t vanish after being shot. It carries on until all of the energy contained within is released. Karma or paap is like a bullet in this sense, the moment bad action is done, future suffering gets written into destiny.

With naam simran, the EFFECT of bad karma toward you decreases significantly. Like, instead of an accident resulting in death, you walk away with small cut. Instead of a next life full of kaam leading you to hell, you just had a kaam dream.

This is why people give up with naam simran. They say ‘nothing happened‘ too soon.

Like we scrubbed the diamond, in spirituality the cleaning is done with fire called bharam agani. It’s generated during naam simran and destroys paap. Intensity of bharam agani is highest in sadh sangat. That’s why Guru ji says ‘sant jana mil har jas gaeo, kot janam ke dukh gavaeo’. It also exists naturally in the negaa (vision) of SatGuru or Bharam Giani. With one gracious look, they can destroy all paap and make you jiwan mukat.

Do as much simran and mool mantar as you can. Be patient and put the effort in, the dreams will flip soon as paap is gone. You’ll start getting daily darshan of mahapurakhs in dreams, dreams of doing sadh sangat in presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. When dreams become this sudh (pure) it’s a sign your future resides in sach-khand. And that’s dreams. Once paap is gone you’ll have experiences while sitting in naam simran too like seeing parkash (darshan of your soul), then darshan of Guru ji.

Wow thank you so much veerji. Yesterday morning and just this morning it happened again. Your post has restored my faith to continue. It makes so much sense now. I was scared that maharaj was going to take away amritvela and simran from me because of these dreams lol. The cleaning process makes sense as I’m such a paapi.
thanks,  gurprasaad.

I like this post. But the dreams and darshans don’t actually matter, they’re just symbolic reflection. Having a home in Sachkandh doesn’t matter... the truth is we come from Nothing and everything is a projection of this Nothing.

So even when you’re in hell, if you recognize that it’s all just God aka the Truth aka nothing, aka True Love, you remain pure.

Be a good soul, do your simran/ mediate, excercise, help others, live your life. Gurbani teaches us to be good, so be a good soul.

you do know you will have to get water from a well if you start following full Sarbloh bibek rehit?

Still it's good to use Sarbloh utensils regardless!!

I saw a video or photo with Singhs in Canada who use Sarbloh, but they don't call it Sarbloh bibek as the water is not from a well.

I can't find the source anymore, and I can't remember what kind of bibek they called it.
