The Muslims started it by raping Burmese Buddhist women, just like they started it with us in the Rawalpindi massacre. They then cry when they get their backsides kicked in revenge.

The Muslims have such arrogance and bravado that they act like this when in a minority. You can only imagine what they're like as a majority. Even in our Punjab there are cases of love jihad.

the burmese are trying to create a buddhist rastra and so are using fascistic methods to achieve this . This excuse of raping women was used to raze muslim homes to the ground , setting them on fire and rape rohingya women and girls , cutting up of children, removal of foetuses from wombs of living women , kiling of elderly i.e. totally adharmic .

I am not claiming muslims are totally innocent no human group is, but the truth is very far from claimed reasons, similar to the 'muslim' threat to 1 billion hindus.

Buddhists are not a monolithic group.

There are many schools of thought. If you have met a monk from Thailand and compare him with a Shaolin monk, the difference is like chalk and cheese.

They also tend to blend Buddhism with their previous/local belief systems.

Much of SE Asia like Thailand used to be Hindu. You will see statues of Ganesh in Thailand.

You also have Shiva Lingam in places such as Vietnam.

You mean many schools of no thought? Lol.

Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh

This may be abit off topic but Sikhs do not require big numbers to get what we want? Remember how Baba Banda Singh Bahadur attacked Sirhind with 11 000 Sikhs and established the first Khalsa Raj? Maybe instead of focusing on having bigger numbers of Sikhs( which may only allow good numbers to show off) , how about we focus on increasing parchar to make these 30 millions Sikhs Tyar Bar Tyar Khalsas? With 30 million Khalsas , a jatha of 5 Khalsa could easily be deployed to each Gurdwara around the world to ensure the maintenance of Gurdwara Sahib is done and no Beadbi happens.Having 30 million Khalsas would solve many if not all of the Panth's current problems.Having 30 million Khalsas who are Tyar Bar Tyar may be better than having more number of Sikhs in the world but out of which only 2 or 3 % are Khalsa. Once we have our 30 million Sikhs all Khalsa, then the numbers would grow naturally.Just my 2 cents

Bhul Chuk Maf ???

You guys are trying to recreate a 15-17th century life in a 21st century world. While there are aspects of this current world I wish I could snap out of existence, you're ignoring or unaware of how post-modern society and associated thinking has killed much of what made those original Sikh feats possible. Pandora's Box is open; there's no closing it and dialling things back, and pretending as if the wider world outside of a Sikh enclave is irrelevant. That's just the tangible materialism of things; the things we can see, measure, etc. Let's not even get into the intangible aspects of how human consciousness has changed since those centuries.

Dare I say the kind of times and moods and moments you're wishing to "bring back" may not exactly have been as they've been described to us in this current period. So in essence you're trying to restore a simulation of something that in itself wasn't as we know it to be, to fulfil a fantasy or an image of a people and a belief system that was in reality quite different, in certain ways, to the ground, lived-in truth of everyday life. So, what exactly are we trying to restore? Something old? Something new? A bit of both?
