try telling them that before preaching to us , we've seen how murderers on the force only get jailed after decades of freedom and then release after serving only a handful of years for killing our brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers

Okay well what if nobody has the food they need and you ask for a pass and you dont get it and nobody is getting one?

When you say broke curfew...they did what exactly? Elaborate.

When challenged they ran like mice? Like did you want them to fight or nah?  Like you sound like you're goading them.

The cops were clearly armed bro and beating the <banned word filter activated> out of them and their truck...

Over vegetables?  What about regular food supply for everybody?  You think they'd do that if they could have simply waited til the next day?  Like you think they said shoot boys we were gonna go buy food today but missed it...well lets go run a blockade?

Everyone is getting food in India. Government and NGOs are working non stop to make this happen.

You can get vegetables supplied to your place by calling approved suppliers.

A curfew has been put in place by the government to spread the pandemic. Earlier anyone breaking the curfew was treated with bamboos. Seeing the negative publicity that was getting, the government took action against erring cops. They then gave orders that anyone breaking the curfew rules are to be detained. These steps have helped India to keep the pandemic in control. The cops are working hard 24/7 without breaks to deal with this crisis.

So these Nihangs thought they are above the law of the land and rest is history.

Again stop overreacting please.

All police are not oppressive and all Singhs are

not Panth loving. Our history is full of traitors and backstabbers.

Do the best you can for the wellbeing of mankind and stay in Chardi Kala.

Yep Am , but the wilful manipulation of sikh's jasbat is sickening in the face of the depletion of our state resources.

Where were these supermen between 1984 and 1992?

Intoxicated.

This thread is in danger of turning from the ridiculous to fantasy.

Buddha Dal has already disowned these criminals. It's a shame some fantasists on this thread are living in cuckoo land.

I would be sympathetic to Punjab police if they would up hold the law instead of acting like they are above the law. Law is not just for civilians but for the entire population which includes the police force.

Hitting people with sticks and expecting people to fold their hands and beg for mercy should not be acceptable

Please don't quote the corrupt leader of buddha dal as a legitimate source.  the government put him in power to run buddha dal as they want.

Did the nihang Singhs go too far? So far what we have been told, yes.  The sword should not have been used to chop at them, but as method to stop the attack. When the sword came out the coward police ran for their lives.  They should have got back in the truck and left.

Police in non corrupt states are there to enforce the law.  However punjab police are corrupt to the core.  Had these nihang Singhs given a bribe, they would have let them go on their way.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
