Go near the middle to end of the video and he will begin to talk about how in the sahih (authenticated) hadiths the companions of profit muhammad say the profit said there will be a group of muslims who go over in expedition and conquest rule over hind (indian subcontient) in ghazwa-hind and those group of people will be granted automatic ticket to jannah (paradise).

This scholar then goes on to give his advise to pakistani ISI and army how they should prepare to do it. It's important to remember its these type of scholars that give the religious advice and justifications for jihadis and your average layman muslim to fight against non-muslims in non-muslim lands

I saw this video a few months ago. I don't think he is a salafi. I think he is a mainstream Sunni also known as Barelvi. That is what most Sunnis in the Indo Pak subcontinent are. Salafis are small but growing fast due to Saudi funded madrasas opening up in Pakistan and India. The Barelvis are the ones who believe in Ghazwa Hind since many of their Peer Babas have seen visions of Islamic armies conquering Hindustan and beating Hindus in a bloody war.

i thought gazwa e hind was mentioned in a minor lesser known hadith

You might be right, either way these sunni muslims should not complain when the hindu's start to discriminate against them in their own hindu majority land knowing this is what mainstream sunni's believe and want them out of their land.
