Nihung kachera (type worn with bana)

Length reaching knees. Aasan (middle part) length can be down to mid thighs

Width is normally double waist circumference.

Simple/Regular kachera (type for wearing at home, with jeans/trousers)

Big enough for comfort, and modesty.

A lot of men in india wear kachees LMAO   thats just wrong in many ways!   boys after a certain age should progress to kachas    but in india many men wear kachiya

we used to have married guys from india living nxt door and they used have kachees drying on the washing line.

I also dnt get why some men wear vests under their tshirts?  its not weird   but i just dnt get why?

What do u mean by width ? circumference of kachhera or just width of kachhera ? because circumference would be 2 times the width.

Yes I mean circumference. If your waist circumference was 34 inch then make the kachera circumference about 68 inch

Doubling it should give enough extra material to bunch up for modesty

Helps with soaking up sweat so it doesn't seep through into the shirt, and making an unsightly spectacle. Probably more useful in a hot climate where people start perspiring as soon as they step outside the front door. I don't think it's an issue in colder countries.

I have heard kachhera should cover the knee cap area and the leg hole should be narrow enough to not move any upper than the knee even when tried to pull up . And kachhera circumference should be 3 times the circumference of waist. is it true ?
