honestly, the sheer stupidity and nearsightedness is baffling. Cleaning an aurangzeb-built mosque (any mosque, even) right around the corner from Sis-Ganj Sahib!!!?? having namaz reading eid parties....lord taketh mercy on us !!

look at what leaving malerkotla alone has resulted for us. there was no reciprocal gesture on the part of our west punjab cousins. they didn't find it necessary to leave a city...say NANKANA SAHIB !!!.... for us to continue inhabiting( most if not all the current sikhs there are peshawar migrants). the likes of azhar alam butcher our youth, use funds from god knows where to fund HUNDREDS of mosques in punjab for the explicit intent of recolonization, and have the audacity to convert our folks right under our noses. If you look at punjab demographic stats, it's shocking that the whole district of sangrur is now 10% muslim, starting off from around 4% at partition. It's not just their domination in the city of malerkotla, but also in dozens of surrounding villages. the number of mosques that show up on just a google search into that area is shocking to say the least.

In the complaint registered with the police, Singh said that when he had contracted an illness last year, his neighbour Anwar said that someone has done black magic on him. To resolve this, Anwar had taken him to several Muslim religious places. In these places, he was taught to read Kalma. During this time, Singh’s health started improving.

After that, the prime accused Anwar assured him that he would get well completely after reading the Quran. Kirandeep said that he followed everything that was asked of him by Anwar. After this, Anwar started pressurising him for conversion to Islam but Singh refused to shun Sikhism. Anwar said that he has already become half Muslim, so he should embrace Islam completely, but Kirandeep didn’t agree. He was subsequently pounded by Anwar’s men for his defiance to not accept Islam.

Okay this is absolutely disgusting behaviour and I agree that we should be aware of these Muslims but my point was that not everyone is like this.  That is not me embracing this behaviour. You guys are right that more steps should be take to make us lot aware of the atrocities and more than equally, prachar should be done so that none of us get tricked into believing that the Quran will 'heal us'.

yeah that could be the case. I'd say more on the optimistic side than naive, I didn't really think that people are that horrible (must be cos I'm younger) but I'll do some more digging into it Veer ji

Do keep digging. Don't be afraid to expose yourself to ideas even if you don't agree with them. Your shardaa will never lead you down a blind alley.

After seeing that video of that Musalman teacher beating kids in his class, I'm shocked that no one's really reported it.

tbh I do agree fully that we shouldn't be giving food to people who are already fed and getting regular donations

People who act so naive should be FORCED to read the Quran, esp the violent verses . Then these appeasers come to knw how they're feeding snakes !

The way to stop these mislead committee members and granthi is to hit their personal bank accounts.  That's if they did this on purpose.  If they admit to their mistake let it be a warning.  Most of these head committee members own a business.   Sikhs need to develop an institution that is powered and run for the fact of accumulating money and run by lawyers.  Soon as these ill willed committee members want to go against Gurmat.  Send the lawyers in to make court cases that will get these members caught up in legal battles for years to come.  Bleed their bank accounts.  Like good crooks they will use the Gurdwara donations for their legal battles and this will further expose them as the sangat will be made well aware how their hard earned donations are being wasted on lawyers and court cases.  

In today's western world,  this is the way forward.
