I think they're what's termed as "useful idiots." Unknowing "actors" who truly believe in the cause they're supporting, but unaware they are pawns being used to sell the lie to the people. Their status and their profile affords them the opportunity to lend a voice to the narrative that's being promoted. Of course, this is only possible in a society where the half-baked, uninformed opinions of celebrities are held up as wisdom by the masses.

No I think these guys are actually paid to do this. They know everything is fake.

Imagine those were brown man/ asian guys who tried do that. Would they have been given a free pass like black mobs have been given like this?

The cenotaph is to the british white natives to what Gurdwara's Nishan Sahib is to the Sikhs. No Sikhs would tolerate the attacks. And so these kinda images are triggering and creating the anger in british white nationalist circles.

Statue knocked over by blm people. I wonder if Gandhi's statue will get knocked over in london. Interestingly some white blokes were seen trying to take the statue out from the river.

trying to take the statue back out

Let's be honest these people aren't pulling the statue out because they have great regard for the man, he was after all a slave trader and their actions here would be similar to if Sikhs did this to a statue of Indira Gandhi and the Hindus dived in the rescue it. The statue here represents their  beliefs that the white man is superior to the black man.

I can understand the outrage of black people over slavery especially after the realisation that the UK Treasury had only manged to repay the loan taken out in the early 1800s to pay the slaveowners compensation for the loss of their slaves when slavery was abolished. Imagine that, all those black people who have been paying taxes in the UK up to 2015, a part of their taxes were being used to repay the loan taken to pay compensation to those who had owned their ancestors.

I don't agree with Antifa but you have to admire the way the statue was brought down sent a powerful message the white British establishment as well as the rest of British society. It reminded me of the taking down of Saddam's statue. The white British establishment has lost and you would have thought that they might have at least put up a fight. No tanks in the streets, no Boris and his Tories in the bunker fighting to the last, it has and will be a anti-climax.

The demonstrators also want to bring down the statue of Cecil Rhodes because he was a colonialist and he bought areas of Southern Africa under British control. From our angle, shouldn't Sikhs also be protesting to remove the statue of Lord Dalhousie from the commonwealth office. After all he was also a colonialist and he was the one destroyed  Sikh independence and from that act we have not yet recovered? He also looted the Sikh treasury and his family made money for the sale these Sikh artifacts and the have been lost to the Sikhs and are in the hands of private non-Sikh collectors.

Why is it a Sikh city? Because we ruled it for 50 odd years? It has been in the control of muslims for hundreds of years.

Lahore was rules by Bedis/Khatris for 1000s of years   Lahore was created by Luv the son of Rama, Bedis come from Luv. Most of Punjab was ruled by various khatri clans before the muslims arrived.

its on in 47 that all the Sikh were forced out of Lahore

All this statue knocking over and attacks on war memorials by black nationalists and far left white anarchists and antifa Marxists has triggered alot of the white ethno nationalists.

In my view if you are in a country from a relative recent immigrant community it is upon you to respect the historical heritage of the native population. Even if these statues and monuments glorify villains of the past. It's not upon us to take them down thats like us going over to afghanistan and blowing up ahmed shah durrani abdali's tomb up or wazir khans masjid up although some may argue it would be justified for past historical crimes against our community.

Bro you know who the native population is right?  That black folks have been there as long as whites and in fact longer...because the natives are basically black dude.  All the immigrants have equal right to dignity under our constitution and they do not get it. Nothing justifies extra judicial police murders let alone everything else.

The fact you even refer to euros as the native people bro...blows my mind..

When Sikhs did that to statues you were all for it not long ago. They were heroes for getting that shamelessness off your streets.

And the fact y'all learned nothing about fake encounters, news media ops, police brutality and murder, cia inspired treachery in the community...when it's you, you get it.

I've got news for you. The cause for black dignity, indigenous dignity, and freedom is your sister cause, it's the cause of this whole world.

The fight for self determination, freedom, dignity, land and mineral rights, water, clean air and sustainable living. The right to be unmolested and practice Dharam.

You can say that about all of South Asia. In this day and age only demographics matter.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
