They are just sick depraved perverts.

If you notice something about our people (it is a feature), we do tend to stick our dirty linen in public. (Look at Harjap's comment).

We have this habit of saying things out in public and then accuse our own people sticking their heads in the sand.

In some ways we love this self deprecation.

We like to play fair in a way other communities do not.

We pre-empt criticism in the hope we're spared from the brunt of it when it occurs. Taking the heat off ourselves. It's admirable if done selflessly. It also explains why this particular trait -- when manifesting in individuals of questionable character -- reveals itself as traitorous behaviour in Sikhs. Again, being surrounded by hostile outsiders makes this behaviour a common occurrence for self preservation.

Muslims, largely, close ranks with a backs against the wall mentality in order to defuse the situation, and protect the collective. We tend to throw the erring party under the bus in an attempt to save ourselves from the ire of the accusing party by publicly severing ties of association between us and the guilty. It's a way of salvaging the reputation of the majority but it comes at the cost of appeasement; something that isn't respected or admired even by the aggrieved.

It is a strange phenomenon.

If a particular negative behaviour is done by say for example 80 percent of a particular community,  it becomes a common trait associated with that community.

However, if 0.1 percent of our community is associated with this behaviour, there is an attempt by certain people in our community to think that 0.1 percent equals 80 percent of the other community.

There is an attempt to do an equal equal.

Well said. We air our dirty laundry openly. Theirs is avoided or excusable.

No excuses for this sick scumbags and others we have in our kaum, but its small minority. However you are going to have apne calling those Sikhs that go after Pakistani grooming saying we are just as bad, bad apples in every kaum etc...ours is community related, nothing to do with Sikhi

Child marriages are legal in most Muslim countries.

I'm pretty sure pedophiles within the punjabi community are a smaller % compared to the muslims and whites whose communities are rampant with these people. Just look at the pedophiles in news their all mostly either pakis or whites.

Do you guys remember the ptc programme about the punjabi girl in America I think and she was raped by her father! And when she told her mother her mother said you must be leading him on. It was very disturbing and uncomfortable watching that.

Another important question: is this a North American Punjabi problem? If so, why? What type of Sikhs are migrating to places like Canada that they feel this is a viable mode of behaviour?

It is a dangerous game because it downplays the level of grooming in their community. It also inadvertently shuts down any further discussion on the problem with grooming in their community.

Which means that they get away with more grooming with impunity.

It is because North American Punjabis are a more recent migrant, they have similar attitudes that our recent illegal migrants in the UK have.

These are Millenial Punjabis, they are different breed and they have different morals to the older communities.

These millenial punjabis have had technology and certain freedoms foisted upon them. They grew up in a suppressed society which creates certain suppressed perversions which have come out to the fore.

It really is eye opening how perverted they really are.

They have no sense of shame either.

And people scoff at the theory that Muslims are the "pet" minority group that will be used to oppress all other minorities. But, anyway, let's not make this about them, lol. I want to learn more about what these contemporary Punjabi scum are doing that means they get drawn to this filth.

These 19 were arrested in a sting. This is all seems to be online grooming, however it does not say whether this a grooming gang or whether there are 19 individual cases.

Also, it states it was a sting. This could mean the police set a trap pretending to be kids in order to entrap predators.

Predators tend to be tech savvy and they tend to be on the dark Web rather than the normal conventional Web.

Do you apne even know the dark web exists? I'm guessing these clowns were sending pics of their privates to underage girls on Insta and Snapchat. I don't think it was a sophisticated process of covering their tracks.

    • Yes Sant Waryam Singh Ji was there when it all happened. They mention the whole event. Also theres been many times when lost souls came to Rara Sahib for liberation. Even with Sant Kishan Singh ji.    All we can learn from it is to do naam simran and be good to others. That way Maharaj will look after us in this life and the next.
    • First thing. Im not hounding u. Nor do i have any intention too.  But what do u mean I'm pushing my luck??!!??
    • Is there a footnote or addendum for Chatropokhiyan that states, "Not All Women"? Or is it something that's considered to be assumed and not worth mentioning?  You can play with words and claim others who highlight these issues are slandering all women, but nothing in what's been stated targets every single woman alive. You can lie and force through your agenda, but then that just reveals your spiritual posturing to be as hollow and meaningless as your arguments. Do you know what statistical data is? It's drawing on information and data to present an inference based on various characteristics that are a broad occurrence, with the theory of probability, that doesn't take into account outlying extremes.  It is as simple as that. And if this needs to be stated anytime a sensitive discussion occurs on this site, then you folk are in serious trouble up ahead.
    • Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh  No veerji. Yes of course woman are capable of terrible things to like what indira gandhi but there are other woman like Mata Sahib Kaur,Bibi Nanaki,Mai Bhago and countless other shaheed Singhanis whose greatness cannot be described. But when Guru Sahib is saying this,it is to those people who have negative stereotypes against woman and claim that all woman are like that and that only a woman can do such a kartoot. This is wrong as this would be an insult to other good woman. Its like imagine saying all Man are cunning. Then this would insult all good man.Another example is that many people abort children just because the child is female.Thats why Guru Sahib says why condemn a woman whose Greatness CAN be so powerful. But this does not apply to all woman. No it is not wrong to call Indira Gandhi bad or Rajiv Gandhi bad or a person like Wazir Khan. But it is bad to give an example of evil people and judge a whole gender or religion based on that.🙏 Bhul Chuk Maf 🙏
    • It's a problem that we need to eliminate. If we don't, it's going to be a huge problem when the time comes for unifying and moving forward.
