Theres quite a few students around here, most them look early 20s but their not known for going into fights etc

A lot of them are young singhs.

A few years back the students were mainly girls and they ended up creating quite a bad rep especially in places like southall, ilford etc

A lot of them became slappers and many even became prostitutes.  Remember that dispatches/panorama programme where they showed the punjabi madame "balbiro bhabi" and she ran a brothel of indian and pakistani female students, most the clients were fojis.

There was actually a house in my town that was ran as a brothel with pubjabi students working in it   it was on the punjabi radio    the houses got raided and was shut down.

I heard in southall there are a lot of these house brothels.

Have ever been given those cards advertising escorts when walking in southall!  Its normally punjabi boys and girls giving them out.

And then you get the odd druggy coming up to you asking if you want to buy his phone.

It sounds as if you live in one of the seven circles of Hell, probably the one populated by desis. ?

I know it but i live in a place where panjabi isn't even taught in our schools during mother tongue classes while hindi has a separate subject dedicated to it. Its really hard for me.

That's why the internet is an incredible tool for learning. If non-Sikh, non-Punjabi Christians can learn Punjabi so they can convert us to Christianity, there's no excuse for us to become familiar with a language with which we should at least have a passing familiarity outside of a formal learning environment.
