Missing Sikh women in East London - keep eyes open

Why are Punjabis living in East London? I'v been there I know a few Gujjis that live near Green Street, and the place looks like Bangladesh with a bit of Pakistan! I actually felt like I was walking through Bangladesh. Theres a Ramgaria Gurdwara there plonked between all the chaos. Don't know why any Punjabis would want to live there. Even the Gujjis are moving out.

Probably was on an "excursion" with some mates. The fact that the family got a Sikh organisation involved instead of the police is interesting, as if the family has something to be concerned about. 

I have more to say but I'll bite my tongue. I'll probably be accused of victim shaming.

This particular girl is from Leytonstone which is Waltham Forest which from my memory was predominantly Pakistani area but that might have changed as I haven't been there in more than 20 years.

But the existential fear of our people is living in an area in this type of area.

Having a Punjabi girl in an area full of predatory muslim males (at least the perception ) is like having a deer in the middle of jackals and hyenas.

Most Punjabis in East London in areas like Forest Gate and East Ham have shifted more towards Ilford and into Essex.

A friend of mine on Instagram went on a rant about this today, but yeah, probably best to just be quite about it, glad she's safe whatever the circumstances were.

I was talking to my cousin sister about this today and she said the female came home by her own will. She wasn't "found" but came home. She said most likely the female was emotionally blackmailing her parents and probably was at a friends house all a long! And then she probably contacted her parents and her parents gave in and agreed to whatever the females demands were and then she came back home by her own will. 

Cousin said when the family were asked what the reason was they said it's a personal matter   lolz ! 

I had a feeling that would be the outcome. 

Its that's the case   parents need to stop getting emotionally blackmailed, set rules what's acceptable and what's not, and if the kids don't listen then they know where the door is. I know for a fact that if I marry a non punjabi my mother herself would escort me to the front door!

Keep giving in to your kids demands then that brings about big cultural shifts and makes acceptable what wasnt acceptable a couple of years ago.

I don't think you realise how big East London is. You've just seen a brown, relatively poor tiny  part of it. It's massive and different areas have different characteristics. There's also Dasmesh Darbar Gurdwara near where you are talking about too. 

 

That being said, I'd rather live there than west London which seems to be a replication of a backwards Panjabi pend to me. I have met lots of people from there over the decades, and the people there seem genuinely backwards and clueless. It says a lot that pak wannabe 'thugs' from E.L  have been routinely going to W.L to pick up dimwitted apneean under the very noses of apnay for decades now. It looks like these fudhus can't even hold down their manor when they are in a majority - that says it all.

The area has changed unbelievably over the last few decades, especially after the Olympics. It's jam packed full of Eastern Europeans now, it isn't as brown as people might think or remember, it's very mixed.

Yeah, the influence of down the road pak criminal filled Walthamstow is something people need to be aware of.

When you say 'Punjabis' do you mean Sikhs or Punjabis, because a lot of the sullay over there are Punjabis.

She just disappeared one day and came back home the next lol
