So I was referring to the last thing he said about he’s seen a mother drink with her daughter. I can think of a pair like that who completely changed.

I wasn’t thinking to the extremeness of your example. There are psychological reasons why some girls are so crazy, generally tends to be due to a lack of attention or love from their parents, normally those silly families which favour the sons over their daughters. Hence what I mean by looking at everything black and white.

In regards to the example you used about the poor singh- there seems to be a lot of talking about this woman did that that woman did that. You guys need to remember and acknowledge that sometimes or a lot of the times it’s actually the poor woman who had to accept a changed ex kanj*r gross masturbating porn watching man. Read about enough singhs on here with masturbation problems.

A person is more than entitled to undergo their transformation to a better self. But nobody is under any obligation to accept that person either during or after the process. Non-acceptance by a third party shouldn't be a reflection on that person's spirituality or wisdom, etc.

Yes of course it’s upto the individual, I agree

I don't understand what is so judgmental about what i said?

Just said to understand Sikhi you need some traditional values and boundaries. Being raised in an environment where drinking alcohol with your mother pretty much crosses all boundaries, a person raised like that would not see the wrong in it as it is the norm, so how would such a person find Sikhi and conservative Sikh culture appealing?  Yes you will have one or two people change here and there, but I'm talking about the vast majority here.

A person raised in traditional Punjabi household with all the wrongs of Punjabi "culture" happening in their house, still understands traditional values, morals and boundaries and is more likely to get into Sikhi than someone who has been raised in a very westernized liberal way e.g getting p1ssed with your mother on the weekends!

Sorry I’ve just generally seen you post so and so did this, so and so done that which stood out. Just an observation that’s all. No offence meant.

When you have 3 daughters, it can be difficult. They will all try to rebel and the father has little chance to stand his ground, 4 women against 1 guy.

Someone where along the way, perhaps around the middle of the previous century onwards, rebellion was normalised as a rite of passage for most youth. It's been fetished and lauded as a positive quality -- something to aspire to by pandering to the belief that originality and intelligence stem from rebelling -- so much so that most youngsters do it unthinkingly as if it's expected of them. Sikhs, being the sheep they are, fall for and embrance these trends with more enthusiasm than other groups. A shallow, base mentality for a shallow and base people.

Hasn't the family just humiliated themselves now, her face slapped all over the internet and social media, only for her to casually return the next day, and from what i see its really starting to backfire, her family were not being honest all along. Rather than making it into a embarrassing national search party family should of just accepted her relationship and done whatever she was asking for, or given her the boot, its one or the other.  The family knew all along that she isn't "missing"  lol  and they never "found" her she just casually comes back the next day.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
